I'm not gonna be all "waa, I'm so shook up, I could have been flying to America this week!!!" 'cause y'know... I couldn't afford it this year anyway ^^; Even if there was a slight possibility a little while ago. And besides, it didn't happen. But it DOES worry me that the threat isn't considered over... there's still a red alert, and they're not sure if they've managed to completely halt all cogs in the plot.

The bombs were gonna be set on transatlantic flights (UK -> US).

Inevitable huuuuge delays and many cancellations follow. I suppose it's just as well that I didn't book to travel this August ^^;;

I think one time there was this bomb scare or something down the street from my school so they CHECKED THE BACKBACKS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS of every student who walked in that day. I still find that incredibly ludicrous.

Uh huh... it's like, just because some insane nutter might have had something dangerous, that automatically makes everyone else more likely to also being carrying something dangerous O.o Uh, no. Everyone else is just as likely to be safe as they ever were.

Exactly! Fear makes people so irrational that they forget what they really SHOULD be doing about it x.x
