I really overdid the alcohol on Saturday night. It was one of those things where I really had no idea how much I'd had to drink until after the event. I guess it was around a straight litre of 45% alc exported vodka. I thought I was fine, perfectly coherent, chatting and having fun online... sure, my inhibitions were shot, but I was having fun. Stayed up 'til around 10:30am, which is when Jei woke up, then as soon as I got up from my chair - FWOOMP. Totally paraplegic. Slept most of the day on the floor. An attractive sight? No. An embarrassment? Yeah. I keep telling myself I won't drink so much any more. I know I have a problem. I should drink to have fun and loosen up, not to get totally shit-faced and then spend the next day wishing for death because I felt so fucking awful. One of these days I'll wind up worse than just dehydrated and sick. I am definitely a binge drinker. It is not good. I don't want to brand myself an alcoholic, because that would mean never allowing myself to drink EVER. But if I can't control myself, I wonder what choices are left to me?

Jei looked after me all Sunday, kept me comfy and drinking water etc, but I felt pretty bad for ruining her weekend by being too dead to do anything all day. I can never seem to do things in half measures :\

Still a bit woozy, but I'm able to eat, walk around and go on my computer without the screen brightness melting my eyeballs XD So yes, better.

The people who live above us in our block are really noisy too. ALWAYS using powertools, running their washing machine and talking very loudly on the phone, even at like 3am.

If you're able to have fun without alcohol, then that's a really good thing. Don't let drinking take over your natural enjoyment of things or you'll start feeling like you can't have a good time if you're not drunk :\ And that's really sad.

'Sides, there's plenty of other ways to not be a 'goody-goody' :D

Well, I've tried drinking, but once I started to feel all hot I would stop, didn't enjoy it.
I have a fear of losing my inhibitions and acting like an idiot/saying things I'll regret later. So I don't see me actually doing it anytime soon.
Losing my virginity would be nice though. I'm too picky and so the search for the right one continues.

Don't get drunk just because you think it will make you "live" or because you think it's an "adult" thing to do. That's stupid. And incorrect. If you've never drunk in your life, then fucking kudos to you for having enough goddamn sense and self-control not to waste your precious life and braincells getting intoxicated.

Mm, I know. I guess I just think a part of me just hasn't experienced everything a person should in their lifetime. Never been drunk, tried drugs, had sex, etc. I get a lot of pressure too, from my co-workers and parents, who think I should get out and party, get laid, etc.
