Icons and houses and SatSR, oh my!

One of these days I'll learn to icon properly (brushes and gradients etc), but for now I'm happy to icon crappily :P It's fun.
Well, just to give everyone a heads-up, I'll be gone for anything up to a week next week (starting this Sunday). The sale of of our house in London is finally complete, so I have to go back to London to help with moving everything out and dividing all the furniture and stuff between my brother and dad, and my mom and myself. Some of the stuff will go with them to their new apartment, and the rest will come back with my mom and me to the new house here in the West. And of course we'll help them with moving into their apartment. Of course that means limited/no internet while I'm gone, but ehh. It'll only be a few days. And we'll be majorly busy anyway. Could be back by Thursday, could take longer, who knows.
Of course, within a week or two or returning, we'll (mom and I) be moving into our new house here, and during that stretch I have no idea how long I'll be without internet n.n; Could be just a couple of days, could be more. We'll see.
Iiiii have a new Sonic poster! Well, two, but one of them is awesome. They came free with ONM, so it's not really a big deal XD But I can't wait to put it up on my wall in the new place! LAWLSAWNIK!!1 as the UB'ers would say XD ... god I love Sonic.
He's STILL on my hand, by the way O.o Albeit faded and almost gone... but he's still hanging in there ^^;
Oh!! Thanks to everyone who left a Valentine for me on that meme thingy. I got eleven! I'm pretty chuffed... I didn't expect to get so many ^^ (And ShadDingo? That's pretty cool about two Valentine's Days in Wales! I did not know that.)
Sinbad-Knuckles in SatSR is hilarious XD; "I am Sinbad of the Seven Seas! Adventurer of Adventurers! ... who the heck are you?!" When Sonic finds regular Knux after that, he's never gonna let him live it down ^^;
Kinda sad that the cameo appearances of the main cast are so small... but hey! Solid Sonic gameplay! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! ^__^

Date: 2007-02-14 07:58 pm (UTC)Well, it's not Valentine's Day, per-se, but it IS a second day dedicated to the one you love. I believe it's St. Dwynwen's day. The story behind it is quite the bizarre one, don't you think?
Not very many people know about St. David's Day either. Welsh holidays are sadly not celebrated elsewhere. ^^;;
