Jai vs Fire Alarm (part 1?)
Jan. 25th, 2007 08:00 pmHoly-- X_x I hate this apartment.
So I was eating my lunch and listening to the radio (I swear, if they play 'Sexyback' ONE more time... x.o) when all of a sudden the smoke detector alarm went off. And BOY is it loud. At least now I know it would definitely wake me if there was a fire during the night ^^;
But the problem...? No fire. No smoke even. But the damn thing wouldn't turn off!
So I called Biscal Homes (the company we're renting from), and they said there's a note posted on the downstairs noticeboard detailing how to switch the smoke alarms off. Only problem was, I was still in my pajamas XD (yes, PJs at 2pm, hush!). So I was all set to rapidly get dressed and go downstairs, when it stopped! Yay!
...
Then five minutes later it went off again.
Then stopped.
Then started again.
Whee.
By the time it stopped the third time, I was a paranoid wreck, certain it would start up again with its sudden nee-naw-nee-naw-ing at any given moment n.n;;
It hasn't gone off since, but I'm waaaiting... >.>;
