flyboy_foxI downloaded a 1.44GB torrent of Snap!. I love Snap!. They might be my all-time favorite music project ^___^ Old-school dance is AWESOME. Cheesy, but AWESOME. And the background beat to "The Power" always makes me think of Knuckles :P
Aaanyway... lately I've kinda felt alive, I don't know. Like I'm on top of this whole 'winter depression' thing. I think the winter blues effect everyone to a certain extent. But there are ways to overcome it. Sometimes a simple change in diet, the use of a light-box, and just having awesome friends is all it takes ^_^ Also, we're practically at the shortest day of the year, aren't we? The days will start getting longer again soon. This makes me happy ^^
Heh, I love "Rhythm is a Dancer" ^^ The dance melody is just... mmm. I dunno. It just is.
XD LJ can't seem to do anything right. The latest 'upgrade' to the Post to Journal page has generated 24 pages of comments, 99% of which appear to be of the "DO NOT WANT D:" variety. Judging from my friends list recently, this feeling is universal. I don't use the PtJ page (Semagic user, whoot!), but I do wish LJ would stop fixing what ain't broke :\ Or at least run their ideas past LJ users first, or give the option to opt into new schemes rather than having them forced as default. Sure, I totally get the LJ/SixApart run the joint and all that jazz... but still, it would be nice if these things were offered as optional, especially when the responses seem to be so negative otherwise ^^;
Ooo, according to Wikipedia, the NES system was released in the United States on my birthday, October 18th, a year after I was born ('85) :D I have the same birthday as Nintendo's American console debut, yay! Going further back, October 18th was also the date that Adolf Hitler ordered the establishment of a German nation militia. Well darn. And 22 years before that, on October 18th, the BBC was founded. Wikipedia is just full of useless yet fascinating trivia :P
Mmm... I need to get around to redoing my LJ layout. I was gonna do a Christmassy/Winterish theme, but Christmas is practically here now, so it hardly seems worth it ^^; I might use one of Jei's pics if she'll let me... I could still do a wintry layout if I used that fluff pic I love soooo much ^__^ I hope Jei will draw during her Winter break, because I do adore her art SO much n.n
Hehe, life is good n.n But anyway...
Here's my basic itinerary for the days surrounding Christmas. Well, not really an itinerary, but a vague plan anyhow. I'll be gone from Sunday 24th until Wednesday 27th. I don't know if I'll get to check my email/LJ during those few days or not (wahhh!) but heck, it's only 4 days... I'll manage. Although it SUCKS that I might not be able to post an Xmas message on Christmas Day :P But I can post one on the 24th before I go. You guys will manage to survive over Christmas without me, right? :) Anyway, that's not 'til the end of next week. One thing I am looking forward to is seeing my Foxie ^^
I haven't seen him in almost 4 months ;_; I miss my Fox. But I'll get to see him in a few days, so yaaay!! ^_^ He'll get many cuddles.
