Hi guys.
Sorry if I haven't been around as much as usual or if I haven't been commenting as much on your LJ entries.
Had another migraine last night. That's three in the space of five days... pretty much every other day. As a result, I haven't been on the computer as much.
If this keeps up, I guess I'll have to make an appointment at the doctor, but I really don't know what they can do. No one really knows what causes migraine or how to effectively treat it. My mom did suggest that, due to some other stuff, I might be anemic. It might be worth getting a blood test done too, in that case.
I dunno. I know it's not serious, but damn I'm tired. One migraine is enough to wipe me out, but three in the space of 5 days?
Also, this pretty much kills any hope of doing NaNoWriMo this year. I'm already five days behind.
And my brother just called to say "Something's wrong with Fox" (my cat, back in London). Apparently he has a huge lump on his neck and he won't let anyone touch him. Sounds to me like he got bitten again and has another infected abscess. The question is whether my brother has the where-with-all to arrange a veterinary appointment and get him seen to. I'm worried. I love my Foxie ;_;
And my mom is thinking of moving back to London. She's not earning enough out here and she feels she made a huge mistake. I don't want to go back to London, but what say do I have...?
All in all, not too happy right now, but heh.

Date: 2006-11-07 02:10 am (UTC)It might be worth it to go to the doctors... I know that most people hate it and all, but... You never know. They may be able to help.
In the meantime, just get plenty of rest. I for one really appreciate you taking the time to come on and tell us where you've been, what with you feeling so crappy and all.
Maybe you're stressed about NaNoWriMo too. Just a thought, but really, try just to rest up.
As for the moving back thing... I know that's probably gonna be hard to take in. It sounds like you've adjusted to this new lifestyle well, but maybe things will start lookin' up after a while.
And I'm totally empathizing with you on your cat. When we left my Freddie in the care of my Uncle and he mysteriously disappeared, I couldn't stop crying until we found him hiding in my Uncle's house. So I hope he gets better soon. I'm sure you love your cat just as much as I love my Fred. ^^
Lastly, just feel better, kay? If you ever need to talk, feel free to take it out on LJ or e-mail me. I check my e-mail at least four times a day on the weekdays. I'll catch it and reply as soon as I get my hands on it. ^^
*HUGS*

Date: 2006-11-07 07:51 am (UTC)Just stress etc. that seems to bring them up more often, at least that has been the case to a RL friend of mine who has them rather often.
Even more so with someone I knew at school years ago, though she had it much worse and fainted every time she had a migraine attack, even after regaining consciousness it went on for hours if not the rest of the day.
But same as before, she also was a reall worryer and easily stressed out over a lot of things, though she also had a lot of trouble sleeping.
Lack of sleep may definately be one of the causes, but I think the stress helps out a good deal too..
Try relaxing and putting off your mind of things when such things tend to happen a lot..
I'm sorry you may head back again too though..but perhaps seeing fox again can destress as well.
