Whee, I went back to Unbreakable Bonds (it's basically the bigger and better forum equivalent of sonic_couples) ^^ People remembered me! I don't know why I didn't check back in so long ;_; I guess I lost the link when I switched computers and forgot about the place until Jei pointed me to a topic where lots of people were saying they dislike Sonic... and of course, I had to step in and say something! No one puts down Sonic and gets away with it lightly... ::angry tail-swish:: ... ... ... aaanyway, despite that less-than-auspicious restart, I remembered how much I liked that forum, and I picked right up where I left off ^^ Except for that my postcount was reset to zero some months back when hackers shut down the place. Oh well, I can rebuild n.n

I have a question o.o ::Que twilight zone music:: ... no really, a question. I've been wondering about this these past few days. Do you lot see me as a furry/fur/furre/insert-spelling-here, or not? I know at least a few of you do... and I know that I occasionally refer to myself as a fox in my LJ and do stuff like... well... the tail-swish thing above. And I know that in the end, it comes down to whether I feel I am or not, and if I consider myself to be one then I am, and if I don't consider myself to be one then I'm not. I'm not very active in professing myself as a furre. And I don't have a specifically designed 'fursona'. So I'm just wondering if you guys see me as one or not.

It's a good forum, very diverse in 'shipping opinions ^^ There's a good handful of Sontails fans there, too, which is always nice. The members are in general very welcoming :)

Anywayyyyy....on the whole fur thing, I must admit I do at times see you as a furry, heck, even on Sunday when you placed that fox tail on yourself, I thought it rather fitting (Of course I never said, since it does sound a little dodgy but I can assure you, it isn't meant to be)

Ya know, those huge fluffy and generally lovley fox tails Jei made for ya...god if you could buy those I would SO beyond get one! They're sooo cute ^___~

Yeah, welcome back to UB! I warn you, this forum is now one of the most crazy forums on the web.

I wasn't fond of the hacking either that happened, since I had about almost as many posts as I have on it now. Ho hum... cest la vie I guess.

As for the whole furry thing, I tend to think that everyone behind a computer is human, but we're all free to express our imaginations in our own way.

Nope. I refer to myself as a dragon, but I don't call myself a furre simply because: 1. My dragon-self is usually for roleplays. Very very VERY rare roleplays. 2. My dragon-self has scales, not fur. And no boobs. -random-

Hmm, do I see you as one? Dunno if it surprises you or not to hear this, but I don't see you as much of one. I think it's kinda similar to how I am with one difference (I've more of a desire for it, I think) - I've heard things from you saying, basically, that you'd be down with having a tail, fox ears, whatever. It doesn't seem like something you desire; more like something that, if the chance for them was there, you may have a, "Well, why not?" approach. Says that while you'd be cool with some furry attirbute thingies, you're just fine without em, being you. Sorta like I've said that I think I'd rather be a girl, but I'm not one, so I'm just gonna go with what I've been given. Sorta o.o

And that could just be the practical side of you giving that off - after all, not like we're going to have an option like that anytime soon. I have no idea if you'd rather have, say, a typical furry body, or something like that. If that's something desired, then yeah, I'd have to say I would consider you one. Seems closer to the indifferent side, though, which is still closer than the majority of the people I know.

Of course, it's more than just the physical stuff. As far as the mentality, I think you fit in with it. But are you a comfortable bystander or an active participant? Would you rather be a furry, or would it just be something that you wouldn't mind?

I don't believe the fursona thing has much to do with it or not. It's nice if you're a furry, I'd say, because it does give you more of an identity to fall back on that people recognize, and while having one would make it easier for people to identify someone as a furry, it's certainly not a requirement. Hell, I don't have one yet (almost...:P ), and I'm pretty positive almost everyone I know considers me a furry.

I guess, in the end, I see you as someone who appreciates and enjoys the mentality generally associated with the community, but isn't as concerned about it as many of the community's members. You've certainly got aspects - I suppose the thing I don't see a lot of is the desire many others express. I don't know if that's a key factor or not. Just because you're not all nuts over not having fur, though, doesn't mean that you're not one. Just means you're more down to earth about it. And as you said, 'tis up to you in the end. I'll prolly always see some aspects in you.
