I'm back. Sort of. Still using my mom's computer. Jei's gone though; I just got back from the airport. This is always the hardest part, coming back to an empty home, seeing all the evidence that she was here with me just hours ago, and knowing I won't see her again until next summer at the earliest (with the exception of a miracle by which I either suddenly become very rich, or somehow win a free return transatlantic flight). I miss her like heck already. I know the intense sadness will soften after a little while, and I'll fall back into the good old pattern of just seeing her online and talking on the phone. But I hope it won't be too long 'til we can visit again.

I'll post a full update on what Jei and I have been up to all week later. Right now I need a warm shower and hot chocolate :) Hot chocolate (ESPECIALLY mint hot chocolate) makes almost everything a little bit better.
