Graaargh. My shiny new Mesh computer decided to randomly stop detecting my Marvell Libertas wireless network card for no apparent reason O.o There's no hardware or driver conflict, no viruses detected, and system restore does nothing; it just seems to have removed itself completely, which can only mean it's done something stupid like burnt out... already...? Luckily I was prepared for such an eventuality! I brought my old Netgear USB adapter, and guess what? Despite being capable of only 11Mbps (as opposed to the 56Mbps the Marvell was supposed to be capable of), it actually works better than the one in the Mesh. It's showing 'good' or 'very good' connection strength, whereas the Marvell consistantly gave me 'low', 'very low', or even 'no signal' ^^; ::Hugs Netgear MA101:: You may be old and clunky, but you saved me from net-less-ness and I love you!

I would quite probably go insane if I lost all internet access for an indefinite amount of time o.o ... hooray for Netgear, then ^^;

haha XD I couldn't even go for a week without internet access, I had to once and went insane with boredom (Not to mention I missed my friends like crazy)

heh, kinda reminds me how my old PC's graphics card works better than my one's did, XD
