Also, normally I try to reply individually to people who comment on my entries, just because it was awesome of you guys to put the time into responding to my silly little angst post... These past few days I've just been... eh... I don't remember being that low in a while, and as a result I haven't done much at all ^^;; But I did read all of the replies (several times) and it really touched me ^^ I know I could email/PM any of you at any time, and that's awesome. So, thanks ^^
Well, in spite of recent troubles (or perhaps because of XD), I have made a life-changing decision... I am now affiliated with The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM).
I have been touched by His noodly appendage, and the path is now clear to me.
But onward!
In other news, Jei found a really AWESOME polyphonic ringtone of the SA version of 'Believe in Myself' ;_; But it's only available on a handful of networks and phone models. Including hers... but she doesn't particularly want it. Whereas I would love to have that as my ringtone :P Buuuut my Siemens C25 is such a crap phone, and the network so unheard of outside the UK, that of COURSE the ringtone isn't available to me. Then again, I have a kickass old-school Sonic theme ringtone that Jei really wants but can't get, so I guess we're even.
DA has a new look, and I found a ton of pictures of Sonic and Tails that I'd never seen before. I'm still browsing through them, but it's nice to see how much art there is of the Dynamic Duo ^^
Alrighty, well, I'll leave this as a relatively short entry. I don't have much else to say. Except that the last tenant stole the kitchen appliances from the apartment we're moving into, and the landlord is only willing to replace the washing machine... so we're gonna have to buy a new fridge-freezer and make do without a dishwasher. Oh well. We lived without a dishwasher before last year, we'll live without one again. The worst thing is the toll it's taking on my mom. Plus her credit card is still being refused, since her wallet was stolen and she got issued a new set of cards. She's mega-stressed, and tension is pretty high. This morning she lost her temper with me for no real reason and called me 'really pathetic' and then 'such a bastard'. I don't like when she gets stressed enough to use that kind of language about me. But she apologised later and said that she didn't mean it. Still stung though, because I really have been trying so hard lately to be helpful and supportive. I know I can be pathetic sometimes but I hope I'm not a bastard, heh. (Although technically... born out of wedlock, so I kind of am ^^;).
Okay, well, I'll tie this up.I got a call from Currys saying my MP3 player is ready to be picked up, and that they replaced the mainboard, so it should work again now. My mom doesn't have her car, because it's in the Garage getting its M.O.T done, so I'll have to take the bus into town if I want to collect it today. Maybe I'll do that this afternoon. Fresh air would be a good idea, even if the temperature really is kinda mild right now.

My MP3 player's been dead for a few months now, at least -.o But thankfully I have my secondary mp3 player (which is actually far more powerful and modern XD), so I haven't gone insane :P

It can play video files (avi, mpeg, and a couple other formats), music files (mp3, wav, midi and more), you can view pictures on it (jpg, gif, bmp), play games on it (it comes with demo levels for games you can download onto it), record audio onto it... it's pretty nifty actually.

Date: 2006-08-10 10:20 am (UTC)The guy who stole the appliances actually ripped off the doors (the appliances were built into the kitchen) and pulled up floorboards to get at them O.o Then he bailed to Indonesia, hence why no one can get at him ^^;
He was obviously... a character x.x He put mirrors on the master bedroom ceiling, despite rules against affixing things (the mirrors can't come off without damaging the ceiling x.x We'll have to just... cover them with something, I guess) and a red light bulb in the second bedroom. And before he left, he drew brown lines with a marker pen on the apartment corridor walls.
What a jerk.
I didn't get my mp3 player back yet, but I'm gonna try to go into town today. ^^
