Wow... busy much, lately? n.n;

Sorry for not being as active online as usual. Everything is just hella-hectic right now. Eeesh.

Well, yesterday we had our first house viewing. It was weird showing a family around our house, trying to sell the area to them in the hopes they'll buy this place ^^; They seemed quite interested, but who knows? It's only the first viewing.

The day before yesterday I walked about five miles, trying to find a place that stocked similar roof-tiles to the ones we need to replace ^^; Walked back carrying about five huge slates in my backpack. I've done a lot of grunt work lately. At the tip, where we were dumping a lot of junk, I had to carry all the really heavy stuff, like the TVs/monitors/bedframes etc 'cause my mom couldn't lift them ^^;; That's fine though. I was also hefting buckets of water around from the back garden to the front of the house to wash down the walls, because the hosepipe ban means we can't just hose 'em down :\ Oh yeah, and I mowed the lawn. And so yesterday I had the backache from hell x.o You know, the kind where any movement is agony and all you can do is lie flat on your back :P Seems better today though. I've just gotta be careful ^^;

My brother's such a lazy ass. He's not helping with ANY of the moving/clearing/getting ready stuff. And now my dad's not gonna be home 'til at least August 12th, which is cutting it REAL fine. I swear those two are useless x.x How they're gonna survive by themselves for a year, I don't know.

I made a Sonic fan friendship meme thingy over at my community sonic_couples yesterday, and amazingly it actually really took off o.o; There's over 50 comments already. Also, I noticed the community has almost 60 members O.o; How'd I manage that? XD Amazoring.

My new computer is SWEET, but the internal wireless card seems to have connectivity issues. Sometimes my wireless runs at download speeds of 200kb/s+, other times it barely pushes 8kb/s O_o; Right now it's running at download speeds of about 120kb/s which is pretty good. Well, considering that my old Netgear could only manage 100kb/s at best, and usually settled for around 60kb/s. But that 8kb/s crap? When it goes that slow, I can't even refresh my LJ friends page without it taking about 30 seconds to reload x.o Too long! I want my webpages and I want them now! But connectivity aside, this computer is FAST @_@ I can't believe I can actually play full-length movie files without them lagging or freezing every few frames! ^___^ And I reiterate... I LOVE the pretty blue dials.

Ouch n.n; Okay, maybe my back is still a little sore. Sitting at the computer all day probably isn't helping :P Catch ya later!
