AOL is eating my comment reply emails again. That, or LJ just isn't sending them for some reason -.o

I am suffering from severe bi-plane withdrawal. It'll probably be a looong time before I get to fly one again ;_; Lessons are so expensive. I felt so at home up there when I had the controls. It felt natural, like I was born to fly bi-planes. The feel of the wind, the sound of the propellers, the patchwork quilt of the land below, unmarred by any panes of glass, and the smell of _fresh air_ all around! It's a high. Not an adrenaline rush high... more of a gentle high where you just feel... at peace. I know I had a stupid grin plastered over my face the whole time. You can see it in the video; I'm such a goofball. But I was finally able to live my dream, and now that I've tasted it, I want more, darn it!

One day when I have money...

::Sigh::

And you will get more ^_^ Eventually, that is ^^; Sounds like when you're up there, and all you've really got to hear is the wind, the propellers, and the engine, that it's pretty tranquil, assuming you're not in a dogfight of some sort :P It makes sense - it's about as close as we can get to flying unhindered by machinery and in direct control (gliding is just a slow fall :P).

I'd like to see this stupid grin in the video, hehe. Keep dreaming, and keep pushing for those dreams ^_^

XD I'll try to post a clip from the DVD once I receive it. Or at least, a few still frames. The whole thing was just awesome beyond compare, but not in the way I kinda expected it to be. I thought I'd be nervous and that the awesomeness would come from the thrill of it... but it actually came from how calm and almost familiar the whole experience was. I suppose it's natural that I felt calm about it... after all the transatlantic flights I've taken. But bi-plane flying is INFINITELY better, for exactly the reasons you gave ^^

If you want it you'll do it some time :) and it's not goofy - that grin is the sign of pure delight.

Aw... I'm sure you keep working toward it, it'll come to you. ^_~ But it sounds like you had a good time... Very tranquil, but enthralling at the same time... Kinda like how I am about trapeze. *sigh* I feel ya. It just doesn't happen enough...

Also, direct all hate mail (no, not seriously... unless you wanna. xDD; ) because nine times out of ten, if you find an episode particularly antishippy, you can bet your bottom dollar (or... pound...) that Yukiyoshi Ōhashi did the Screenplay for it. Seems to do most of the episodes where Kojiro doesn't like Musashi all that much.
Junki Takegami usually portrays them as close friends... and he does a lot of the love-themed episodes in AG. xD He's the one who did Gaurdi To Kojiro (Holy Matrimony!)... Oh. The irony. xDD
