Anyway, yes. I recovered from nearly dying of heat exhaustion and ill-timed alcohol consumption yesterday ^^; What it was, was that I went with my mom to her brother's 60th birthday party, down in Billericay, at my cousin Lindsey's house. Aside from the almost collapsing part, it went okay, if rather boring. I'm the 'lost generation' in my extended family... all my cousins are MUCH older than me, with little kids of their own. There's never been anyone of my age or near about, except my brother. And he didn't come to the party. Even my half brother and half sister in Colombia are in their 40's @_@ So yeah, at the 'party' I mostly just sat in the outdoor patio or on the grass, staring into space. Except for when Lindsey's 3-year-old brat Jasmine, who was running around naked with a bunch of other naked little kids, decided to attack me first by attempting to splash a bucket of water over me (disgusting water, let me add ;_;), and then by hitting me repeatedly with a tennis racquet x.o Yes Jasmine, I spent 2 hours in that oven of a car on the M5 just to sit here and have you torture me. Yeesh. Normally I love little kids, and the others were fine... cute, even. But Jasmine is a little monster ;_;
Anyway, yes, I survived it ^^; But never again. At least not for a goooood long time.
