I failed at lots of things in life, therefore it's my fault that my brother stays out all night, smokes weed and cigarettes, drinks, has sex, and doesn't go into college. Of course. It's my fault! Not only am I responsible for him copying the faults I admit to having (laziness, temper, apathy), but somehow I'm also to blame for his drug habits and utter disregard for other human beings' feelings. Because our dad simply isn't around and isn't exactly a role-model anyway, I'm the one whose presence influences him most of all, and if he's turned out rotten, of course I'm to blame! He'd be a normal well-adjusted happy 18-year-old if his older sibling wasn't such a failure! Because of course he's blameless, whereas I can't be trusted within an inch of my life. Even though I abhor lying and he lies his teeth off every day, I'm still the one who's least trustworthy. Because he's 'normal' and I'm... not normal? So he tells me things, says things to me, and I report those things out of concern, and suddenly I'm either lying. distorting the truth, or 'remembering wrong', just because he tells a different story? He's off the rails, can't you just see that! It has nothing to do with me! You keep telling me his life is none of my business and I shouldn't be so concerned, but in the same breath you're telling me it's my fault he's the way he is? Well which is it? And I swear, if he screws up my chance to get out of this hellhole, I will NEVER forgive him -.- [/rant]

Neat, I never saw the translation of the lyrics before ^^ I have the Polka O Dolka CD though with all the Polka O Dolka remixes. There's like 10 of them @_@ My fave is the Hyper Dance Remix XD It has weird voice samples in it.

Screw your brother. My druggie sister doesn't get credit for me being in college right now - there's absolutely no reason for you to take the 'credit' for him destroying his life. Thanks Lunar ^^ I think my mom is just really stressed right now... she obviously doesn't want to move away from here leaving my already off-the-rails brother here with just my dad and my brother's druggie friends @_@ Maybe she's trying to convince herself that it's my fault so she can feel like he's less likely to be that way once I'm not around :\ I don't know...
