Lol, that was as far as I got with that entry two nights ago because right as I was typing that up, she arrived home with said drinks and fun times ensued! I love hard drinks that are made to be consumed straight. The high alcohol content in small shot-sized amounts means they have an effect quickly and easily, meaning less gets used up and it lasts much longer. We still have a fair bit of both left. It's funny, though... I really thought that I would love the Goldschläger because it's cinnamon schnapps and maybe not like the Jägermeister because it's herbally (yep, I'd never tried Jäg before :P). It was the exact reverse! The Goldschläger was WAY too strong-flavoured for me. Admittedly, the gold flakes make the drink look really cool (I love the golden snowglobe effect when you shake up the bottle!), but the flavour was just too intense. The Jägermeister on the other hand... my God. Move over, vodka. I think I have a new favourite drink :D It tastes JUST LIKE my favourite cough medicine (and yes, that's a good thing!) but without the syrupiness. I love, love, LOVE it. We did mix up a few Oil Spill/Starry Night/Golden Elk/Screaming Nazi/Jägerschläger/Liquid Cocaine shots with the two, but in the end Jei loved the Goldschläger and I loved the Jäg so we just went with the respective bottles each. Mmm~ Great stuff!
So, I did have more to say but... gonna go play some more Lego Batman co-op with Jei now :D Laters~!
