Commissions Post!

Okay, so, you remember how I mentioned in my last post that I made £800-ish selling comics at SoS this year? It broke my heart, but I sold pretty much my WHOLE Archie Sonic collection (which was almost all of them), plus a number of my AoStH cels. It wasn't a decision I took lightly, but right now Jei and I are in dire financial straits. The £800 I made either pays off this month's rent (£600 pcm for the place Jei and I live together in) and food/utilities, OR it pays off LAST month's rent which is on my credit card. It doesn't cover both or next month's rent at all. Jei won't be getting her Student Loan in until October at the earliest, and I remain unemployed despite applying for an average of 5 - 7 jobs per DAY. Bournemouth, a student town, is incredibly hard to get work in during the Summer months.

Which leads us to this. I've been offered money, very kindly, but can't accept donations. You guys aren't rich, I know that. But those who are willing to help us out, even if just with a couple of dollars, deserve something cool in return. So Jei and I are offering commissions to anyone with even a couple of spare bucks lying around. Even $5 helps, but please only ask for a commission/item if you know you can afford it. Generosity is amazing, but your own lives come first (:

Also, I noticed you commented on Jei's commissions post too, and so I wanted to add that I really don't care either about 'weirdness' of requesting characters we 'are' or 'knew'. Pics are totally impersonal - and Jei's already working on a really odd one with Tails in it XD; Heck, you could ask for a Scourge x Fiona pic and it wouldn't bother me. But no pressure (: Just wanted to address the points you made ♥

I don't mind if you choose not to commission me or Jei for anything Sonic-related or otherwise, but understand that we're doing it for rent money and nothing more.

I never wanted you to stop IMing me or to stop talking about Sonic, and although it's kind of you to not reply directly to ME with Fiona icons simply because she bothers me, I really REALLY don't care that much. The Sonic 2 jacket, no. The Sega Official Crew one, yes! BUT it is a super-rare item. 100% leather with silk lining, perfect condition, worn only once and one of only TWELVE in existence. If you want it, you'll need to make a decent offer XD;;

Which board game? I have about three. But the one that's most like a traditional board game is basically just special stage hopping and miss-a-go/forward/backwards silliness XD

Well, as far as the leather jacket is concerned, I've been offered £250 for it and turned that down, so gonna have to say 'no'. Given that ordinary leather jackets of this size and quality and condition START at around £350, I'm really looking for a pretty high offer on it :P I don't think anyone on my friends' list can afford it, so it's probably gonna have to go to auction with a reserve.

The arcade money bank is one of my favourite items, so it's not gonna be cheap, but of course nothing like the cost of the jacket XD I can check shipping via UPS if you give me a town and postal code.

Hmm~ That's definitely the closest offer yet to the reserve amount I had in mind. I don't know whether to hold out to see what it might fetch on eBay... But shipping is probably gonna be a bitch if I do sell to you. I need to know your town/postcode so that I can use the UPS and Parcelforce shipping calculators to see what the cheapest option is.
