Jei's on a university 'field trip' to London today to visit a couple of museums for her latest assignment. She'll be back around 9 - 10pm tonight, which is fine... but why does all the freaky stuff have to happen when I'm home alone? D:

I was just in the bathroom doing my business (ahem) when I heard the bath suddenly start making these loud gurgling sounds. The sound it makes when the water is draining out. It definitely was coming from MY bath and not the pipes or the flat next door... and it was loud and constant, despite the fact that I knew the tub was empty. Then when I finally peeked in I saw pink water gurgling up from the plug hole o.o;; Wtf mate?

Crazy thing was, for a few moments I thought that I was hallucinating. My head's been in a very weird place lately and it wouldn't surprise me at all if my brain had decided to make me hallucinate one of my worst fears (blood coming from a bath or sink - it's really creepy to me). But the water was pink... definitely not blood. Maybe rust or some other chemical/compound in the water? I dunno... but why'd it suddenly decide to erupt into my tub right now when I'm home alone and really wanting to take a nice hot shower? ;_;

God dammit, apartment. No shower for me until at least 10pm tonight, I guess. I'm not sure if I even want to peek into that room again before Jei gets home ^^; Yes, I'm a wimp. I know. I don't care, it was creepy!!

Water spontaneously spewing out (not just bubbling up), happened to my toilet once. To this day, I have NO idea why it happened. No one had even used it prior to it happening... it just happened.

Haha, I've had that happen too. At my old house, the cistern used to randomly (yet almost routinely) explode and shoot water ceiling-high. Never did figure out the exact problem...

Ewwww. That's like, a scene from Ghostbusters 2. O_o I don't know whether to advise you call a plumber or an exorcist.

Maybe a plumber who moonlights as an exorcist? Or vice-versa? ^^;

Could be :( The guy upstairs is a plumber... Jei reckons this could be his fault if he's been messing with the pipes again but I'm not sure how that would cause rusty water to guggle up into OUR tub in the apartment below...

Pink Water?! That sounds really odd. I would not have been having a shower either after that.

I'm pretty sure the pink is rust contamination, and it did run clear after a while... but still, erk!

Yeah I know! =/ The water in the bath taps run blood red here due to rust, fortunate the shower water is always clean.

Eep! I think I might have seriously freaked if the water had actually looked like blood was in it... That just happens to be one of the horror movie clichés that always majorly creeps me out ^^;;

Mirror reflections doing things the person reflected isn't is my horror film cliché. XD I only have one mirror in the house and I only look in it if I really have to.

Yeah the water running like that was kinda creepy actually.
