I never said I was good at LANDING!

This is Miles Calamity, my SecondLife avatar. I've wanted a biplane for him ever since I joined, and finally saved up the L$ for it. This is Miles and his brand new Stearman PT-17 in a lake in a residential area about 30 seconds after take-off. Fail, Miles. FAIL.

Date: 2010-02-03 11:58 pm (UTC)It's a good and hilarious money sink for internet money that I've never actually spent a dime on LOL. I just signed up for some spam for L$100 when I first started and just keep gambling it whenever I might need more.

Speaking of bad landings, I did find it rather odd that Tails and Knux leaped out of a moving plane at the beginning of Heroes. I can't imagine that it didn't slam into a mountain at some point, unless it had some sort of automated landing program installed into it.

Tails doesn't care about landings. Heck, he probably intentionally doesn't bother because if he crashes he knows he can just build a new one :P I mean, he's forgotten on occasion to even INSTALL landing gear XD He's like "Landing? What's that? Ohh... right.".
I guess when you can conjure up anything out of a few scraps, you can afford to be careless about some things.XD
