Gutted

I'm writing from a cafe in Bristol. Came to collect Jei only to hear via text from her mum that she's been detained at Heathrow and they're deporting her later this afternoon. They won't let me see her, either.

To say I'm gutted is putting it mildly. She'll be able to come back in a few weeks when she gets her student visa sorted (too many visits on a tourist visa or something), but... there was something very special planned that now won't happen ._.;;

Not to mention we're supposed to be moving into our new place in a few days... I'm trying my best not to bawl in a public place but ARGH x.x

*hugs* I'm so sorry . . . That's not fair at all; it's so heartbreaking . . . Yeah, she's able to come back in a few weeks, but it's frustrating because I know you want to see her now . . . I just hope everything gets sorted out soon . . .

I can't comment on the airport security over there because I have no idea what it's like, but I do know that it is pretty tight over here in the US. I can kind of understand why they would have deported her if there some kind of violation, but at the same time I can imagine how heartbreaking it is for something like that to happen to her, and for you to bear the news that you won't be seeing her for another few weeks. It sucks that something like this was even allowed to happen. I hope things get sorted out with Jei and hope you're doing okay.
