Yeah. Science is simply the cogs that make things work. Suppose the telepathy supposedly used in the military actually exists... there'd be a science behind it. Parts of the brain that we didn't understand before, maybe, but still a science. Things that don't have a scientific explanation aren't supernatural or outside of science... they are simply unexplained. Not knowing how a rainbow is formed doesn't negate the science behind it. I don't believe in "just because". I don't believe in magic or superstition. I believe in science.

Does that clash with my crazy esoteric past life beliefs? No. There's a science behind that too, even if it's as simple as a few loose wires in my head ;)

I guess you must be speaking of alternate universes and non-linear time.

Or "Jai is crazy" works just as well :)

"I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!" Love that quote.:D

But supposedly the truly insane don't actually know that they're insane. So, if I know I'm insane does that cancel out my insanity? O.o

...You know, I'm really not sure. It seems like one of those zen koan kind of things. You know, one of those questions you can't answer with logic, so you wind up having to dig deep inside yourself for spiritual truth.

But... but... everything can be answered with logic! If that isn't true, then my world view is shattered! ;____;

Maybe some things just require more complicated logic than others.^_~

It sounds to me logic and science are almost similar entities to you whereas i view them on different levels here..

Well, I do believe that science is entrenched in logic. I'm not sure that I view them as one and the same, but I don't think science can exist without logic.

I would say science is more of a subset of logic but it need not be so all the time as paradoxical as it sounds..to each to his or her own then~lol
