~Tonight it's up to you!~
May. 25th, 2006 07:11 pmWhoo! I'd forgotten how much the sun improves my mood ^_^ It's sunny outside right now, and I feel great! It just cheers me right up.
I was thinking, it's not too long now 'til my bi-plane lesson will finally take place o.o Yeah, it's still a couple months away, but it's getting closer, eee! Man, the thought of taking off, up into the sky, in a Tiger Moth... a real proper old-fashioned bi-plane... god, it makes my tummy feel all jittery with happy excitement, just thinking about it! Sucks majorly that it was supposed to happen in October, and it got put off a whole half a year @_@ But it's almost around again now, and the weather should be pretty good in July. I'm so hyped! I've wanted to fly a bi-plane since forever ^____^ I can't wait 'til the part where I get to take the controls. Whoosh!!
I'm pretty excited about the move ^^ Nervous, but mostly in a good way. It'll be GREAT to get away from my brother, and his LOUD rap 'music' and his toenails and bodily hairs in the bathtub (eww :\), and his all-round annoyingness. Looks like my dad is gonna be here in June, so I'll have to deal with him too for about a month before we move out, but it's just a month. Just one month. I can deal :P Living close to the seaside is going to be uber! I'll be able to walk along the shore whenever I want ^^ Sure, it'll get crowded in tourist season, but I don't like it when it's _too_ hot anyway. The rest of the year, the shore is MINE! BWAHAHAHA!! ... yep.
Lots of open space and countryside too. I need to buy a remote control plane to fly around outside. I saw a pretty nifty remote control helicopter on IWOOT, but it wasn't a plane, and I want a plane :P Also, there's caves and stuff nearby... I've always wanted to explore caves! Maybe there's some places where I can rock-climb; I love doing that too. Knowing me, I won't spend much time at all on the actual beach :P I don't like sand on my skin, or saltwater. But the view... the view and the fresh ocean air makes it all worth it ^___^
Y'know, much as I LOVE technology and modern stuff, I've come to realize that I'm not much of a city person. The hustle and bustle of it just isn't for me. Give me a quiet town by the coast, anyday. As long as I can keep my modern conveniences, I'll spend my time with them as far away from the ugly concrete jungle as possible.My own little workshop in the middle of the Mystic Ruins :P
I'll need to get a job pretty quickly once we move there, because my mom's going to need the extra income in this first year, while she's supporting _two_ households ^^; Once my brother's A-levels are over and he moves to University (hopefully), my mom will be able to sell our house in Sutton and recoup a fair bit of money. But for now, there's going to be WAY more going out than coming in, so we've got to be frugal. Maybe I can get holiday work, since it's a pretty big tourist area by the coast. We won't be living in the actual tourist trap itself, of course. But it should be commutable (I really need to learn to drive ^^;). Also, I can volunteer in the new Children's Centre that my mom will be working with... perhaps they'll hire me after a while if I'm useful enough to them.
Hopefully I won't pick up the local accent o.o It's kind of a drunk-sounding slurrish 'Farmer Bill' accent ^^; The original 'dumb yokel', the UK's equivilent to the Redneck drawl ^^;; But hey, I lived in North Cheam for 11 years and haven't picked up the ghetto accent from around here. So that's a'iight, innit? ;P Safe. But seriously, I still speak like a snotty posh Wimbledon denizen, so hopefully I'll survive the relocation with my verbal integrity intact. Yeah, kinda sad, but I sort of pride myself on my ability to articulate and speak well. I don't pride myself on much, since I'm a pretty lame specimen most of the time, so I suppose it's alright if I allow myself that ^^;
Alright, well I guess that's it for now. Kind of in a talkative mood, I guess. Either I have nothing to say, or way too much ^^; But oh well, what can ya do?
Jai, over and out :P

We wouldn't know, ya silly person - Get that microphone working sometime, chop chop! :P
Not too far from now; a few months never seems to last long anymore. Ever since I turned...like...14 a month became reallllly short. So yeah, almost time! :D
Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I didn't know that your brother wasn't coming along. That sounds wonderful; I'm glad you get to get away from him, and his 'music.' Blegh ;_;
The rest of the year, the shore is MINE! BWAHAHAHA!! ... yep.
It starts with a shore...then a town..then a small city, then a big one...before you know it you're taking over a small country, and after that comes other parts of the continent, and then the world!
I really can't stand heavily urbanized areas. I'm a suburb person, assuming that term isn't exclusive to America ^^; Then again, haven't lived anywhere else to know otherwise. I can just tell that I wouldn't enjoy living in a city. If it's quiet, it's good n.n; Besides, cities are ugly. Trees and beaches and lakes and rivers are pretty ^_^
Good luck in finding a job; I'm sure you two will make ends meet. And yes, you should learn how to drive, even if you won't drive too much XD Very useful skill indeed, hehe.

Oh, and my mic is working ^^; I'm just too scared to post my voice publically :P

Date: 2006-05-25 07:41 pm (UTC)Yet I can copy any accent you throw at me.
A man once thought I was British because I was using a British accent (not sure what specifically though... xD; -thinkthink- I don't think I was even aware I was using one! Except I said 'AI-thur' instead of 'eee-ther.' ... -shrug-) because it sounded like his British wife's accent. xD Neat.
And messing around with Americans, then being all 'Oh, my name's Lamees! Lamees Tayyib! I'm from Saudi Arabia!' is SO MUCH FUN.

Date: 2006-05-25 09:17 pm (UTC)Dammit I love this accent though...besides Thomas ALL the shows I watch have mostly American VA's so the accent rubbed off on me, and even THAT has American narrators! (Even if not very good ones, not to be biased or nothing though)
It sounds so cool, ours to me sounds kinda snobby sometimes...eugh o.O
Yes, I'm weird, XD

Date: 2006-05-25 09:21 pm (UTC)That's a side effect of having an American accent, I think, not to mention a by-product of Victorian times that remains today.

Date: 2006-05-25 09:32 pm (UTC)I mean, the way we say "Book" "Door" *Shudders* And that's nothing compared to my dad's which isn't too for off a Scottish accent o.O (He's from Newcastle)
