~Lines I shouldn't have crossed~

Eggman is no longer egg-shaped.
Princess Elise is super-realistic and looks like something out of Zelda or Final Fantasy.
The 'new guy' seems to fight using magic and has glowy symbols on his hands.
And Shadow is driving around in a tank/all-terrain-vehicle.

I don't know what this is, but it doesn't feel like a Sonic game to me O.o

I personally think this has the potential to be the best Sonic game ever, even my friend who HATES Sonic wants it!

However there are a feq qualms I have...

Eggman being thin
The new character
Shadow being there

I personally think the loss of kiddy looking stages for action packed ones is a huge improvment, as is Sonic not being shrimped size anymore. It's more like his SA2B Model now

This game will be mine when I get a 360, period.

I'll admit visually it looks fantastic. But it looks and feels like a completely different type of game now. A princess who looks like something from Zelda... ATVs like something out of GTA... it's like a mishmash of other genres and is totally losing the 'original' feel the Sonic games once had. It's like a combination of every other generic game now.

Hey, aren't the town stages back? I mean, like the adventure fields?

I LOVED those in SADX...

I Have so many reasons to want this game, Havok physics, amazing use of PS3 and 360 (In my case) hardware, more action, etc...

However I must admit I'm a younger gamer and have been into games of this sort for a while, so maybe I would like the changes

I guess everyone's different... I'm not that concerned about the actual gameplay... for me it's all about the characters and the feel. I don't like when things change drastically :P

I think Eggman looks pretty cool, but wtf about everything else. I am a little disappointed that this is looking less and less like a remake.

I still think all the complains people are making about this game are out of pickiness. RE4 made a DRASTIC Change from the p[revious games, and it worked, so give it a chance.
