Oh my. Color me COMPLETELY disillusioned ._. SHADOW is on the latest piece of cover art for the Next Gen game. Sonic, Shadow, and the nameless recolor who supposedly announces Sonic's the 'Iblis Trigger' x.xThis looks suspiciously like it's gonna be some kind of 'mystic trio of hedgehogs' type of thing... some kind of ancient prophecy? All I can say is... the only 'mystic trio' in my books is the original trio... Sonic/Tails/Knuckles. They were the first. If any three should be tied together by some ancient prophecy, it should be them! And yes, I am speculating wildly... no need to point this out to me. It just pisses me off BEYOND comparisson to see Shadow YET AGAIN next to Sonic on the box-art (even if it's only promo art)... and this time in a game that I thought was a back-to-basics game following the original Sonic the Hedgehog formula of Sonic vs Robotnik, without ANY of the subsequent characters... no Tails, no Knuckles, and CERTAINLY no Shadow -.-; There is no escape from Shadow...

Well that's fine. I'm more of an old-school Nintendo fan anyway. I don't much like the direction they're taking now. Guess I'll always be loyal to Nintendo at heart, but I can admit when they're fucking up x.x ::Stomps 'em::

The last decent Mario game ever made in my opinion was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for SNES... that game owned.

You're just mad cause you don't like the name, and because their current marketing and advertisement schemes don't appeal to 'gamers,' yet the games still do :P Last I checked, you were still quite excited about various things on the DS, for instance ;) I dun see how stomping em is being loyal, unless your world is vastly different than mine ^^;
