She's lump, she's lump, she's in my head
Apr. 29th, 2006 11:28 pmo.o I have an insatiable itch to go to Sutton tomorrow and look at gadgets. MP3 players, mainly. It doesn't matter that I already have two (including a £400-ish one that can also play video and has a photo viewfinder). Oh no. I wanna look at fresh gadgets XD I get this urge once in a while where I just want to go into a hardware store and oogle at stuff n.n; You know... act like I'm buying one, and talk to all the sales staff about what I'm looking for... get them to open the display cases and let me fiddle with the gadgets... then tell 'em I have to go get some money out of the bank... and... head to another store to start all over again XD 'Cause you know... I have no money. But looking is fun too ^^
I got chinese for dinner today! My mom went out for the evening, so I ordered in. Mom left me £5 for food. The meal cost £14 XD Oh well. Good thing I randomly had £20 in my wallet that I have no idea how it got there o.o Anyway, since I didn't wanna walk down to Emperor House, I ordered in from Wing Yip (Emperor House doesn't deliver).
Pros: Cheaper. Bigger portions.
Cons: WAY too much batter. Much more greasy. Not as tasty or as satisfying.
Conclusion: Walk down to Emperor House next time, you lazy bum.
Still, it was nice ^^ Prawn toast, hot and sour soup, king prawns in batter with sweet and sour sauce, and breaded chicken with tangy orange sauce. Yum. Greeeeasy, but yum.
She's lump, she's lump
She's in my head
She's lump, she's lump, she's lump
She might be dead
Curse you, Jei, for getting that song stuck in my head! XD She said it would be very fitting for Fox (my ginger cat) if the gender was changed. "He's lump, he's lump..." XD
Is this lump outta my head?
I think so
Is this lump outta my head?
I think so
XD Craziness. Aaanyway... what else? Tomorrow I'm supposed to go to a christening x.x I don't waaaant to... it's all the way in Essex or something. Whee, car ride. Whee, ending up in Scotland. Well. It's bound to happen. My mom and I are Team Rubbish when it comes to finding our way anywhere by car XD Oh, I can read a map just fine. I just can't tell the difference between left and right x.x "Turn left here. No! I meant right! Okay now turn right... no left... no... THAT way ::makes sideways sweeping gesture:: ... I said that way. Left. Oh, that was right." I'm useless n.n;; I seriously get confused between left and right. Always have. I think there's just a glitch in my brain. I'm fine with compass directions. Just not L & R ^^;; ... so yeah. Christening. My cousin's second child, a boy this time. I'm not even sure which cousin n.n;; Oh, I'm bad. I don't know much about anything that goes on in my life. Maybe there'll be cake ^^;;
My Great-Auntie Rosa won't be there this time. She's in hospital after having a couple strokes. I feel bad for her, but I'm kinda relieved that she won't be there. She's so deaf that you literally have to scream into her 'good' ear to be heard... and at the last Christening I was at, I was stuck with her pretty much the entire time, in which she spent the whole time telling me how much she hates her life and wishes that she could just die and that she wants someone to euthenise her ^^; It's terribly sad... but not something I feel comfortable with dealing with. Gosh, I sound heartless :\ But being stuck with her for three hours was really not fun... Guess that's what I get for being the 'lost' generation though. My mom talks with her siblings... my cousins are all twice my age... and their kids are... well... babies. There's never been anyone of my age, therefore I'm always relegated to talking to Auntie Rosa :P And wow, she's gotta be 90-something by now...
Stupid family reunion x.x ::Clings to computer:: ... it also means getting up before 9am. Ouch XP
Mmkay, I'm done.
