Well, she's gone.

Fara went to the vet for the last time this morning. I spent a while downstairs with her last night... then I got a couple hours' sleep, then I got up just before 8am to say goodbye to her. Right now I just feel sick to my stomach and numb.

R.I.P Fara-fluffles. I miss you already soooooooo much. At least you won't suffer now.

Longer update later if I feel up to it.

I can't really say much here...I'm sorry, Jai. ::Huggles:: I know it's a terrible thing to do..had to do it with our Golden Retriever when he a seizure in his later days, and it was one of the most painful things I've experienced.

Rest well, Fara. You deserve. And rest well yourself, Jai. I know it's hard ::hugs again::

Thanks Lunar ::Hugs:: So far I'm dealing okay. Better than I thought, but I guess the intensity of the sadness comes in waves. I felt truly awful for a while, but right now I'm coping at least. But I know I did the right thing for her, and that makes it a little easier, even if not much.
