Well, she's gone.

Fara went to the vet for the last time this morning. I spent a while downstairs with her last night... then I got a couple hours' sleep, then I got up just before 8am to say goodbye to her. Right now I just feel sick to my stomach and numb.

R.I.P Fara-fluffles. I miss you already soooooooo much. At least you won't suffer now.

It's just very emotional when having to put a pet to sleep. With my first cat, man... I couldn't even look at her before getting to the vet to put her down. It was just her time, and Shadow knew too. She knew it was her time and was so brave! She had feline lukiemia. I got two cats who look just like her now, and they have some of Shadow's personality traits too.

The more you bond and get to know a pet or a person, the harder it is to let go. *huggles* R.I.P. Fara.
