flyboy_foxThanks everyone who offered their sympathies regarding Fara. I'm taking the whole thing pretty hard... I know, once Fara is gone I'll still have Fox... and, like Jei said, Fox will probably live for a thousand years, the fat lump ^^; But... it's not the same. Fox just eats and sleeps. He never seeks human company. But Fara... she's always there, always around. Under our feet most of the time, which we always complained about... but god, I'd gladly trip over her every day if it meant she could stay. Every night she's there, sitting nearby while my mom and I watch TV. And when you pet her, she purrs soooo loudly... and she has the softest fur EVER ._. There's going to be a HUGE gap in my life after she's gone. But it's for the best. I don't want her to suffer. And at least she still has a bit of time left before she's gone. Of course, if she seems in pain, we'll take her in even sooner. But right now, there's two weeks. I'll make the most of them.
Aaanyway, I'm gonna try not to dwell on it too much right now.
In other news, I _finally_ started playing Sonic Riders last night. I beat Sonic's first race, Tails' first race, Knuckles' first race, and Tails second race... and now I'm with Sonic again up against Jet in Sand Ruins. I'd be playing more right now, but my hands literally have blisters on them ^^; I have to say, I'm really enjoying the game though. The cut-scenes are great... they really make me happy. And it's not as hard as I thought it would be. I figured I'd never even get past the first race, but it didn't take long at all... and Tails' first race I beat on my first try which is, for me, amazing :P Still, it's gonna be slow going 'cause I don't play video games much, and therefore I'm not great at them. Funny how I'm totally obsessed with Sonic, but I hardly ever play the games or watch the shows XD I guess my obsession comes from somewhere else.
Oh, I also have Donkey Konga 2 n.n; It was a free gift when I subscribed to ONM (Official Nintendo Magazine). ONM is pretty good... even if they only gave Riders 47%, their review was pretty fair and didn't write Riders off completely. Their staff also seem to be a little less fanboyish than NOM (the magazine's predecessor), which is refreshing.
And now, for no real reason at all, I'm gonna post a pic I drew. Even though no one will actually understand what's going on and I don't feel like explaining :P
...aaand... I also wanna post this pic that Jei drew XD Tails is bundled up inside Sonic's jacket. Just 'cause. It's too cute n.n;;
It's so adorable I had to set it as my desktop background :P
