I should be Ď‹ber-happy that we're through to the last eight, but honestly we're playing on fluke. Lampard in particular was way off form... and with the 4-1-4-1 set-up Sven's set up, Rooney's always alone up-front with no one to cross to or receive from. Bah. Rubbish. Come on, England, you can do better! We're gonna get blazed out of the World Cup by Holland or Portugal in the next match on Saturday. Sigh.
Beckham DID show his true skills by "bending it like Beckham" when he scored from 25 yards(?) from a free-kick that curled right over a solid 4-player wall of opposition players. Then he was sick on the pitch. Nice one, Becks XD Poor guy, heat must've got to him... playing it 31 C heat's gotta be a little dangerous, I'd have thought ^^; But yeah, Becks won us the game even if he wasn't on top form. So, at least we have a win.
Wow, I sound so grumpy XD I'm not, really. I just think we can play better football than this.
