June 23rd is calculated to be the happiest day of the year

Aww, Sonic's birthday fell on the happiest day of the year! Well, that's no surprise :P I bet the reason WHY people are so happy in general on that day is because it's Sonic's birthday! Everyone wants to CELEBRATE! ^_^ Aww, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy :P Sonic makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, just because of his awesomeness ^___^

Also, for anyone not yet aware of it, the Summer of Sonic webproject is now open and fuctional, so it's worth checking out I guess? They haven't got much there yet, but it's set to grow if people contribute. Seems like a pretty cool microsite; the idea is nifty, anyway. Bring together all Sonic fans, despite their differences. A bit of a farfetched dream, with how divided the fandom is right now, but like I said, the idea is nice ^^

The day before Sonic's 15th anniversary, June 22nd, was pretty cool too because it was the summer solstice aka the longest day of the year. I really wanted to go to the celebrations at Stone Henge... they sounded pretty cool ;_; Kinda new-age and hippie-ish (people "frolicking naked in rapture to the sound of drums" as the sun rose... wha'?? O_o), but aside from a few weirdos (I might've been one of them if I'd gone XD) the whole thing just looked laid back and happy... a celebration of nature on the grounds of one of Earth's oldest mysteries. Bet'cha there was a lot of weed being smoked, too :P ... so, yeah, maybe I'm weird but the celebrations looked fun, and maybe next year I'll find a way to go! ^^
