My first voice post ever, WHEE :D

Voice posts are fun, right? You get to hear funny accents if your friends are from far, far away. All we really want is to hear your voice, we don't care what you're saying. So here's a list of typical meme questions that would otherwise be boring, but when communicated aloud - well, it's entertaining. Answer these questions in your post, and encourage others with voice-posting abilities to do the same.

1) What's your name?
2) How old are you?
3) Where are you from? Are you living there right now?
4) Is it cold where you are?
5) What's the time?
6) What are you wearing?
7) What was the last thing you listened to?
8) What was the last thing you ate?
9) What was the last thing you watched on tv?

Yeah, as I said in the voice post, I tend to assimilate accents and can sound slightly American at times ^^; Vague accent indeed.

Eep. Sorry, did it sound bitchy? I was just curious as to whether it was one of my LJ friends who had forgotten to log in, and who it was.

Also, I just realized that "vague accent indeed" might have sounded scolding or sarcastic... whoops. It was meant genuinely. I DO have a vague accent.

I think it's kind of funny how the "voice" someone writes down can feel so much more real then their physical, spoken one. When I read your writing, your personality oozes off it...when I hear your voice, I can't tell much about from it alone at all. I'd imagine it's much the same way with me, though.

I'd say for the most part, you sounded like a young adult British woman, with a sort of deep, feminine, slightly regal sound to it...which is cool, but it sounds like pretty much the opposite of what I hear when I'm reading your writing. It sounds like the sort of voice I'd like to have, but can't produce, oddly enough. But on the other hand, at times, mostly at the beginning, you sounded like a young American boy, which seems to fit you quite a bit more. Even still, I was having a lot of trouble matching your personality, which I'm familiar with, to this voice...which I'm kind of sorry to say, heh.XD It was still very interesting to hear, though, Jai.^_^

I used to try to disguise my voice to sound more like how I wanted it to sound... but I realised later that there really wasn't much point. So now I just speak the way I speak and don't worry too much about it ^^;

You know, I think I have a good window later today to do just that! Just as long as the microphone works out all right when I hook it in, things should go fine.^_^

That actually reminds me of how some times when I'm alone in the house I'll wind up trying to imitate Bella Hudson's lines from the Rush games(Lol, weird!). I soon found that I sounded a lot less silly when I just spoke normally and didn't try to make my voice higher. Actually seemed more fun and natural that way.

It's good to finally hear you speak, Jai. :) The audio quality could be better (only pushing 32kbps/11kHz, although that could be just a LJ limitation), but other than that, your voice sounds good.
