Okay. Pornography.

I see nothing wrong with it at all. As long as the content is legal (or entirely performed by actors if the actual act would be illegal) and no one is being exploited, then hey, click away to your heart's content.

What does this mean for me? Does Jai look at porn? ...Occasionally. I'm really not much of a sexual person, but I have a couple of kinks. More than anything, I'm sometimes just fascinated by what I find and I'm looking at it out of morbid curiosity more than anything else. I don't usually actively seek it, but I'm fine with it being there.

Now for a touchy subject. There's a great deal of controvery over a particular type of porn - animated/drawn underage 'hentai'. Loli. Shota. There are those who say that having such images as legally okay encourages actual child exploitation and CP. I say bullshit. I have a confession - I like some shota. Does that mean I think that sort of thing is acceptable 'in real life'? NO. Heck no, and again no no no. I find the idea of a young kid in a sexual relationship to be absolutely abhorent outside of the realm of fiction and fancy.

I think there are a lot of people who have flights of fancy and fetishes that they would never even think of attempting in real life, but having content on the internet is a way to satisfy that kink in an easy and safe manner, whether it's softcore, hardcore or extreme.

I don't have any extreme fetishes, so don't ask! Like I said, I'm not highly sexed. I much prefer to connect on an intellectual and emotional level than one charged by lust. But there's porn out there even for me :3

Conclusion: I don't look at it often, but porn is A-OK by me.

Loli and/or Shota seems to be something a lot of people will (somewhat grudgingly) admit to liking, it seems.

And I can understand the idea of looking at something just because it's unusual/catches a sort of morbid fascination. As I stated in Blaze's porn post, in a lot of cases where a passerby might think I'm just looking at furry porn, I'm actually looking at the characters themselves, not the situations and actions they're a part of.

I find some art/hentai interesting for reasons almost unrelated to the x-rated scene they're part of. Sometimes I'll take more interest in the expressions they have, or the way a hand is drawn... and sometimes I just look at crazy porn and lol.

It was good to read this. I like loli and shota, too; I think I've worked out that for me it's nothing even to do with the age or personality. It's just that, physically speaking, I find a small, slender, androgynous body appealing. Big breasts, or hairy arms, or other exceedingly gendered features don't do anything for me... when taken to extremes, all gender traits are kind of unpleasant in my eyes. A soft, cute look is what I find the most attractive, in girls and boys.

Hmm... I wonder if that's a big part of why I've had so many crushes on fictional characters from animation and games, but very very rarely on an actual real person. I guess the androgyny of the characters, due to the lack of focus on defining their gender sexually, makes them more attractive to me. An expressive face and a form that can be easily held is much more important to me than explicit 'gendered features' (as you put it). If a character can be attractive just by having a wonderful personality and a pleasing non-threatening appearance, that can be far more sexy to me than one who TRIES to be sexy. If that makes any sense XD;

And I don't like actively sexy, either. Makeup, tight clothing, the whole sexy walk thing... or in men, being topless and glamourous and show-off-y... it's not appealing. I suppose I like shyer, kinder people than the brash type who'd throw themselves around like that....

Sadly, alot of people seem to buy into the 'thinking is the same as doing' thing. And it just SO isn't. I mean... there's been a lot of times where I've been so viciously angry at something my children have done that I've thought of like... striking them violently. But it's just a momentary flare of anger and the thought is there and gone. I would never seriously do so and so long as the thought stays just that, a thought, then how on earth is it being harmful?

I, personally, have no problems with loli and shota so long as they're kept in the realm of animated/drawn. Real child pornography is a serious crime and I'd love to personally kick in the heads of anybody who has or deals in the real thing. 8D *stabs them all* But I don't see what the problem with flights of fiction. We all watch movies dealing with people being gunned down and such and how many people draw violent battles or write them and nobody thinks twice about them?

I actually enjoy loli and shota, myself, now and then. It's definitely something that slips into the 'guilty pleasure' area seeing as the way most people react to finding out that someone likes it but it's there none the less. I just don't advertise it. \D

The whole 'thinking is the same as doing' thing just angers me. \D Fiction only hurts people when they let it take over. The rest of the time it's simply a pleasure.

Indeed... I think most people have imagined themselves doing something that they know they would never REALLY do. Like your example with your kids. You act it out in your mind and it's cathartic, and it releases the urge so that you don't need to do it for real.

I'd never seek out porn of real children, because I don't want to see something that was the product of torturing real people. But drawn/animated stuff like lolicon and shotacon is okay by me.

...Oddly, I've had an increased desire for shotacon since I recently became more accepting my masculine side...developed a greater tendency to imagine myself as little cute anime boy.O_o
