I am really worried about Hurricane Gustav. I get a sick anxious feeling in my stomach whenever I think of it. It doesn't look like it's going to be quite as ferocious as Katrina was, but it's looking bad enough, especially considering where it's headed. My fingers are crossed for everyone living in the path of the storm :\

My brother is off to Uni tomorrow. Kinda crazy how we're both heading off to University for the first time at the same time. I wish him the best of luck. Good luck, James! I hope it's everything you're hoping for and more. Not that he reads this journal or even knows that it exists XD But I wanna wish him all the best here anyway.

For the past couple of weeks I've been, uh, sleeping on the floor in a makeshift nest of duvets, pillows and my sleeping bag. The reason for this is because there is so much junk on my bed that there is no room left for me. It's finally occurred to me that this is probably an indication that I should begin sorting out the bomb-site that is my room ^^; There's only a couple of weeks left before I'm off, after all, and only 9 days until Jei arrives here. While I'm happy to sleep curled up on the floor, I think she deserves to have a bed to sleep on XD

So I guess that's my plan for today then. Start cleaning. This may or may not take me all week o.o

Hope the hurricane isn't too bad dude =(

and hehe, my room used to look like like a bombsite as well with all my games laying around and most on a huge pile up, which was then fixed when I got myself a shelving unit XD

I have absolutley no idea really :. my Maths gade was made of fail which will no doubt hinder it quite a bit if I do decide to, but I still have Year 13 left in college but beyond that I have no idea what I'm gonna be doing...

Well it's certainly not something you need to make a solid decision about yet. But qualifications don't always have to be a deal-breaker... after all, I only did 5 GCSEs and I didn't do A-levels at all.

The other thing is, you can always wait a while. There's no need, these days, to jump straight into university at age 18 or 19. I'm 23, for example, and only just starting.

Then again, Uni isn't for everyone. I was just curious :)

I think these Hurricanes are a sign of how Mother Nature hates for how we abuse earth..Hey I may sound like a Hippie..but y'know it to be true..

It really is almost like karma in a way... although it seems unfair how the poorest and most ill-equipped places get hit the hardest.

Mother Nature is not to be trifled with.

Yeah kicking one when they're down is cruel and kinda sad..but in a sense it's the worst that brings out the best in us..like Tsunami incident and the helping world..
