Fox (my ginger tomcat) woke me again today by jumping onto my bed and landing squarely on my face. Only this time... he managed to snag my lip with his claw. And there was blood. Everywhere. All down my pajama shirt. I flailed and yelled for my mom, and when she saw all the blood she said "My god." and ran off to get me something to stop the bleeding n.n; I'm now holding a wad of damp tissue between my lips and thinking I am going to have a very fat lip to start the Easter Break with. Gee, thaaaanks Fox x.o

Edit: Making a cup of tea, managed to splash my hand with scalding water ^^; Why do I have the feeling it's just gonna be one of those days?

Edit 2: But in other news, my Sonic "Cool Running" doujinshi was finally shipped from Japan, so it should be here in a week or less ^_^ Yay.

Haha, I think this morning was karma's revenge for me being so uncharacteristically hyper last night ^^;

Yes cats can be mischievous like that sometimes, you might want to keep the cat out of the room and the door closed to prevent this..

but what can I say?
Every cat has it's own habits and oddities, Fox seem to like jumping on you (or face).
At least my cats are a little more tame to say the least, the only one who likes to jump is the little cat we have which just jumps on your lab or legs but stays away from the face even if you lay down.

Only one that likes faces is the mother tiger, which basicly just walks up to lick you in the face or sleep closely against you on the sides.

Simba liked to eat my hair..
He even jumped up on the coach on top to reach my hair when I was sitting there watching tv.
Simba was my fav cat really, but sadly passed away.

Well it depends on how you look at it.
He doesn't really "eat" the hair, could say it's more licking really.

but because the hair is a lot longer then normal fur, he tends to bite at the hair and such making it look like he's "eating" the hair.

Yeah, I guess all cats have their quirks ^^; It was probably worse because Fox is a big cat... very heavy... so he can do a lot of damage by jumping on your face ^^; Also, he likes to eat hair too... he jumps up on the back of the couch just like you said about Simba. Simba sounds really sweet :( It's very sad that he passed on.

Yes, Simba was indeed very sweet..

Always the one to sit outside waiting for me when I got hme from school, as it was mostly a fixed timing through the week and also the cat that liked sitting besides me on the couch every evening.

And well we have one cat that is fairly big too, ponjo, he's just a big teddy bear really.
He doesn't care much about whatever you do with him and likes attention a lot though is too lazy to do too much effort for it ;p

My cats are all European short hairs though, so they generally don't get that extremely big (but can get heavy if a bit too spoiled) what breed is Fox?
Somehow I think it is a cat with a bit longer hair, might want to make a pic of him sometime ^^
