flyboy_foxFirst and foremost, Happy Official Birthday Sonic! You're awesome. I can't express... how awesome you are. You've had a profound influence on my life. Just because I don't blog about it so much doesn't mean it's not still there or its decreased at all. You're still my inspiration and my hero, speedfreak. Keep on running to the future and kicking butt and just genuinely being the awesome hedgie that you are! :) Much love! xxx
Okay. My ego's taken a few whacks over the past few days. Ever feel like no one takes you seriously? Like you're brushed off as easily as sand? Like... you're just lame and you feel almost embarrassed to be yourself? It's a silly thing to worry about, but I've been feeling kinda marginalized at work and online in some communities I'm in, and even at home a little. I know I'm not a big fry. I'm introverted and awkward and not in the LEAST bit cool. But still... I have to remember there are people who believe in me. People like Jei, who never give up on me, 'cause they think I'm worth something.
It helps.
So, I doodled, which I haven't done in a while.
It doesn't matter if I'm not an awesome artist like Jei. Sometimes doodling makes me feel better :)
Gawd, is it only Monday night? x.o Weekend flew by, but this week is going to CRAWL. On a (hopefully) positive note... I took my mom's advice and rolled forward my (work) leaving date from August 21st to August 1st. That gives me a full month before Uni stuff, whoot! I'm actually pretty excited. I've been wanting a solid block of free time for some time now. There are things that I want and need to do. Sleep being one of them, but selling some more junk on eBay being another, plus doing some shopping for Uni. I might also visit Jei for a week or so before she comes here, if I have enough funds! The weak US dollar is crap for her, but it means my GB pound is worth a bucketload! XD
Oh, and I finally took pictures of my laptops, electric typewriter, chaos emeralds, etc. I'll get them up pronto - tomorrow, hopefully!

We all have moments of bleakness, there's enough angst on my journal to prove that. But, at the end of the day, people do care, yeah. I really think you've got the potential to do well. ^^ And the little doodle? I've always liked your drawing style, it's really good. :)
