Grr. Yesterday my appetite came back a little, but today the nausea's back with a vengeance. Also, I had an appointment with the GP today to discuss the side-effects of the medication I'm on, but he called in sick :D Super-duper. Ah well, if I call in early enough tomorrow and he's back, maybe I can fast-track an appointment then.

I saw Dr. Bird (the clinical psychologist/counsellor guy) yesterday. He was nice, but I dunno how helpful he'll be. At least he confirmed that I don't seem autistic at all, which is good, because the Asperger's label is one I've been fighting ever since I was 14 x.o It's so easy for people to see a few correlating things and then go "yeah, you have Asperger's Syndrome", just like that. So it was comforting to have a guy who specializes in Autistic Spectrum Disorders in young people confirm my own suspicions that it was (and has been every time since) a misdiagnosis. I don't think that having AS is a bad thing at all. It's just not me. Anyhow, he did say that I'm "a complex person", for good or for bad n.n;; But yeah. Really not sure how much he'll be able to help. At least the initial consultation was free, but any further sessions would be £40/hr, so I would need to be sure that it was the right way to go ^^;

Anyway! I decided to channel some of my frustrations and restlessness into something a little more positive. So, having noticed that sonic_rating was a little more active lately, I decided to invest some time in it and hopefully restore it to it's former glory. So I'm gonna pimp it a little:

I didn't create the comm, so I can't take credit for the nifty layout, or graphics, or the initial concept. But I'm the current community owner, and I'm proud to be 'in charge' of a community that's actually pretty successful! :) Especially now that it's revived again.
