Oh crap! NaNoWriMo starts today... I was so dead-set on doing it this year, and then I completely forgot about it :\ Way to go, Jai XD

Also, note to self friends world - do NOT let Jai have money and be in town ^^; Seriously... I've been so GOOD about my spending - until I was in town on Tuesday. I had about an hour to burn, so I wandered into Gamestation and then, subsequently, GAME. Went in with nothing but my wallet, came out with:

Sonic and Knuckles Collection (PC)
Sonic Mega Collection Plus (PC)
Sonic Adventure DX (PC)
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Large Mario plushie
Large Luigi plushie
Large Yoshi plushie
90% less cash :(

Seriously, what's WRONG with me? D: I HAVE all those Sonic games for consoles, and I don't even collect Mario plushies ;_; But those were so well-made! I couldn't help myself. Bah.

Also, Phantom Hourglass is mightily fun. I LOVE the whole drop-down map thing where you can jot down clues and information, and the stylus controls actually work REALLY well. Worth a buy if you have £27 floating around!

I've been tidying up my room a bit today. Took me a couple hours to sort out all my bank statements and papers O.o I also realized I, er, have rather a lot of bottlecaps ^^;

About the money spending; maybe like, set aside a good percent of it where only you could find it except you should do it where you'd be like TOO LAZY to go get it, so you can at least somehow curb on the spending expenses? :D (That's what I do XDD;;; THOUGH I'M ALREADY REALLY NOT THRIFTY SO IT'S JUST AN ADD-ON FOR ME)

I'm the same way, which is why I started carrying a small amount of cash on me at one time, usually less than $20 USD (slightly less than £10), and leave the rest at home. If I see something I want, it forces me to decide if I really want it. Especially if I see something I want and have to decide. A lot of the time I end up buying neither.
