So I was thinking about how my birthday's next week and I'm going to be 23. And how quickly I'm careering towards my mid-20s and how I'm expected to be all grown up and mature and responsible and adult. Well, I have only one thing to say to that...

Ahem. Thank you. :)

*laughing* Wait til you're in your fifties.
You grow up when you do. Til then, fake it.
That's what I do.

I'll be 30 in a couple of weeks. While I hope I've matured at least a little bit over the years, I'm far from being a responsible adult.

Then there's hope for me yet :) I don't want to ever lose my love of 'childish' things, although of course I want to be able to depend on myself financially and not be a burden on others. I know I have to be an adult in some ways, but I don't want to ever stop being playful :\

I'm 32; you see me acting all grown up? :D

:D Guess not! Well, it makes me feel better to know there are several others of my age and older on my FList and in the fandom in general, refusing to grow up, just like me :)

Growing up is giving in.

And dammit, I refuse to give in.

Hello there

Hello there,
I did a search for Sonic stuff in Yahoo and you came up. Wow, I am so impressed with your collection! I collect Sonic stuff too, i've got a big one.. BUT not not nearly as big as yours.
I've been a Sonic fan since 1992, and a lot of people call me obsessed. I've got a personalized Pennsylvania license plate on my car that says "SONIC TH".
Well, the main reason why I contacted you is not only because i'm jealous of your stash, but i've been seraching store after store in the country for what you have and haven't had any luck. I'll say that you have a lot of what i'm looking for, and I just can't find this stuff. Where do you find them?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks!
B.J.

Hi!
Wow, I had no idea my collection shows up on a Yahoo search... hah! That's pretty funny. But anyway, my stuff? eBay. Seriously, about 98% of my collection was found via eBay. It helps to know which sellers know how to get hold of rare items. I've spent £800+ on one seller, just because she was able to locate some REALLY hard-to-find items. Yes, I'm pretty obsessive about my collections, hehe.
I envy you on the license-plate, though! Now that's one thing I DON'T have!
If you need help finding something in particular, let me know, I might be able to find it for ya. :)

I'm 19 next month and people are already telling me that I should grow up and act like a proper adult. Well to be honest I grow up when I want to and not when anyone else tells me, best to keep young and lively as long as possible :D

hehe flyboy, "I'm turning 23 which is almost 25 which is basically almost 30! ;-;"
It's not like you 'grow up' all at once when you've circled around the sun just the right amount of times, You're fine, my friend x3

I turned 18 about three months ago or something like that, and I get the whole "you have to grow up" thing too. Haven't done it yet and I won't be for a long time. XD Hooray for being young and youthful! :D
