MOUSE TEA ... and other stuff.

My mom made me a cup of tea this afternoon after she got home from work. I was happily sitting at my computer sipping said tea when I suddenly noticed a small brown thing sticking up from the liquid, looking an awful lot like a tiny rodent ear or nose. So I freaked out, thinking "OH MY GOD THERE'S A MOUSE IN MY TEA". And then I took another look and realized my mom had just left the teabag in the mug by accident. ... True story.

So tomorrow morning I'm getting my obscenely shaggy and mullet-esque hair cut and blond highlights put in. Woo! Depending how it goes I'll either flaunt my new look with the digital camera on my phone... or I'll wear a beanie hat for the next six to eight weeks XD Wish me luck. I don't do the 'fresh new look' thing very often.

I can't believe how helpful people have been about the scholarship thing ;_; The response was incredible and the amount of clickthroughs from LJ is just... wow. Thanks guys :) Even if Jei doesn't get it, it's heartwarming to know how many of you want to see her come here to study.

I've got to thank phspopular2002 for my Current Music. I'd forgotten how much Classic Rock... well... rocks. Classic rock, especially classic rock with nifty guitar riffs, has always made me think of Sonic. And this song in particular really makes me think of him for some reason.

Ugh... the Smash Bros. thing XD; My friendslist exploded yesterday. About two dozen posts in a row, all about Sonic. It's a good thing I'm so incredibly hyped about it too! :D I dunno what it is about that pic that was at the top of the New Challenger page, but I really like it. Sonic just looks... awesome. And hot :\ Really hot. I haven't been that smitten by a picture of Sonic since... oh, there was a CG image a while ago that I obsessed over for a little while XD; Jei knows the one. Anyway, aside from the pic, everything else looks really great, too. I love the old-school touches. The jump-sound. The ledge animation. That classic finger-wagging. Not so sure out the spring move... O.o Just where is he pulling that spring from? I'm pretty sure only female characters have access to Hammerspace. But yeah... Sonic in Brawl = Kickass. Noooo doubt about it. Now I just have to steal acquire a Wii so I can play it when it comes out ;_;

I got my haircut! :D It's all funky-like, with copper and blonde highlights. It's very different o.o But also cool and whee! I hope yours went well!! ^^

XD I kneeeeew you'd think that pic of Sonic was hot cuz it's a lot like that pic you liked a long time ago XD aww. But I'm so excited! Sonic's in Brawl! It's the coolest thing! It was great seeing the whole fandom explode!! Not if only people would stop saying that Shadow should be in as an alternate character, we'd be all set! n.n

Well... yeah... I wasn't really thinking XD I saw the 'thing' poking up through my tea and I just thought "GYAH! MOUSE!!" XD;; I know, I'm stupid. And weird.

I'll try to get a good pic of my new haircut n.n It's pretty different. No more shaggy mullet :P Eww. It has copper AND blonde highlights, but they're on the second layer, so they just show through from behind the top layer, which is cut all staggered. I don't know how well it'll show up in a pic but I'll do my best!

Whaaaat, am I that predictable? XD And is it a bad thing that I think that picture of Sonic is really really hot? n.n;; I can't help it ._.;; Sexy hedgie. But yeah XD The super-exploding-fandom thing was awesome. Seeing people wingeing and complaining about it was even better. YAY FOR SONIC IN BRAWL!

I can totally imagine that, though, teabags DO look very dodgy when left to soak in tea for a long time. When I first read the title, I seriously thought there might have really been a mouse in the tea cupboard, or something. (Once I had to help clean this really disgustingly dirty house, and there were LOTS of mouse droppings in the cupboard where the mugs were kept- to the point that if you lifted the mug, there was a ring of... well, anyway -and I wouldn't have been suprised if there was mouse tea in there!)/pointless rambling.
Man, someone seriously needs to do a mouse tea photomanip!
