Argh... Act 2 of Sky Babylon, WHY DO YOU MOCK ME SO?! 'Course it would help if I was actually any good at video games. But seriously. STRESS ;_; "Are you okay, Sonic? Do you want to try this stage again?" ... jgfdtgsfduysadfgas no ;_;
Also, who's idea was it to mix up the digital optical cables with the coaxial leads? Or the 3.5" chip fans with the 4.5" ones? Or the fecking Nic 1010 PCI cards with... ugh... I can't even remember but it was another card that was about twice the price. Yeah, it doesn't take a PDT to realize these products are NOT THE SAME. (#One of these things is not like the other ones...#).
And, 600+ bleedin' balloons? Go to hell, please. ._.;; *Balloon-phobic* Yeah, laugh it up :P Balloons are eeeevil.
Right, now I go to face my destiny. Alas, poor LJ, I have forsaken you in recent times ;_; Blame it on my job. Works for just about everything else x.x
Edit: Well, that's it. No longer employed at PC World. Or at least, I won't be after I hand over my letter of resignation later today. *Sigh* Long story, but it just wasn't going to work. I'm not cut out to be a salesman.
Edit 2: Oh my God XD Finally beat Sky Babylon! Urg, Boss time ;_;
Edit 3: Haha, Boss is dead XD Easy Boss for such a tricky stage O.o

Date: 2007-09-17 12:44 pm (UTC)I feel stupid... I should have ordered your copy from a UK store rather than an American store, so you'd get it sooner ;_; I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking.

Date: 2007-09-17 03:29 pm (UTC)So for most of my life, I scurry away screaming if a balloon is near (unless it's those kind that don't float and usually have stuff inside that make noises and are held on sticks- those don't scare me).
That horrible awful game kids like where they have balloons tied to their feet and they start stomping to see who can pop the most ballons? Terrifies me to this day.
... I have a lot of fears stemming from stupid things I did in my childhood. Like my fear of fire that has rendered me cooking-challenged despite the fact that I love to cook. Somebody always has to light the fire for me (gas oven ^^; yeah, I know, dangerous. Oh, what I would give for an electric oven! -sparkleshimmersparkle-).
See, there was this flame... not sure if it was a candle or what, but I was setting tissues on fire for my own amusement. Then one of the tissues burned up faster than I had expected and I let go of it so it landed on the couch and the COUCH BURNED UP. ^^;;;;
Aaaand now I'm staying off-topic. o.o
So I'll be quiet. x3

Date: 2007-09-17 03:34 pm (UTC)Hehe, no, I can relate. It's not easy to get over phobias.
I'm mostly scared of balloons for the same reason that I'm scared of fireworks and thunderstorms. Sudden loud noises make me shriek like a little girl D: ... and at work, they had over 600 balloons, all around the store. And they were exploding every 5 minutes ;_; *Hid in the admin closet for two hours* XD;;

I used to be scared of fireworks too. Especially as they're usually set off very close to me.
On the other hand, I adore thunder. Though the first time I heard it a few years ago, I went pale and scrambled into the house scared out of my mind. ^^;
