Odd little question:

Those of you who've seen my photo, would you say that I'm "white"?

I only ask because I've had several people say things that insinuate they see me as something other than Caucasian. For example, on SSMB someone commented, after seeing my pic, that they were surprised because they'd expected me to me a "white-boi". And at work yesterday, someone said they expected I'd pass them over to "some geeky white kid", which seemed to imply I wasn't a white kid o.o And of course, there's that woman at my old job who asked if I was (Asian) Indian XD; But that was just odd because I certainly don't look Indian. I'm half-Colombian, but does that make me not "white"? Seriously, what do you guys think? Because this keeps coming up and it's weeeeird ^^;

In other news, I made two big sales yesterday, which is cool. Today we're at the Weston Football Club (where we did our first week of training) for a product review day. Should be fun!

To the ethnicity question? I say you look human. :P That's really what matters in the end. Though if I had to peg you, I'd say you looked like a 'white boi' with some other stuff mixed in somewhere. But... then, haven't we all. XD;

You actually don't strike me as "White." From what I've seen, you've got pretty dark skin next to most caucasians. ^_^

Really? ^^ Well, I guess I do have quite Mediterranean skin... it's certainly much darker than my (very white British) mom and my pale-ish brother (although he has darker hair than me). Also, I tan SO easily XD

I did had an instance someone commented/asked if I was Arabian...
Though it was only after I had a rather severe sunburn on my arms and it had a slight brownmisch collour afterwards.

I really don't tan at all really...I think that one time was the only time I was even remotely brownish and even that was after a severe sunburn in which you could peal off hardened dead skin off my arms and pain for about a week.
I really end up burning way to fast...

I would like to see a recent picture of you then though, so I can take a good look for the ethinicity thing/qeustion you have.
It's hard to think up the skin collour from memory..
I believe I did see your pic once before, but just don't really remember such details that well.

you don't really look like someone from a different ethnicity skin wise, but I think it's more the hair style..Though could be me.


Regardless, don't see much else sides the hair that would be a possible explanation.

That's what I thought XD I mean, I'm not a stark-white blonde blue-eyed burns-so-easily English kid. But I didn't think I was "not white"!

I don't really notice anything but the most "stereotyped" racial and ethnic features unless they happen to match ethnic features in names, so I'd really be the wrong person to ask. I seem to remember you looking "white" but some of the people I know who are technically white are just as dark as some of the people I know who aren't. At my high school, there was a guy who was like a quarter Cherokee who looked whiter than this dark-skinned fellow who was actually completely white, for example. And I'm pretty sure the one dark-skinned guy was whiter than I am. And I've never really felt a need to notice. I mean, the kids who were nice to me were the other kids who were different, a subset of whom were the kids who weren't white. It's never been in my interest to notice race.

This stuff is so confusing. Why can't everyone just accept everyone...

Exotic? XD Wow. But that's funny, because the kids around where I used to live used to call my family "the posh Greeks" because they thought my dad (and my brother and me) were Greek for some reason. And that we were posh. XD;

Well I mean you don't look stereotypically "white." You have those pseudo-Greek features, like the skin tone and the hair and the dark eyes. It's probably the Colombian coming through which looks sort of Greek anyway, but you definitely don't look Indian. Posh maybe, but Indian... no. Just... no XD

I think its probably the brown eyes and dark hair. I think you look like a Caucasian with darker features like the Italians or Spaniards.
