sonicstuff, maybe you missed this.

SonicandPals.com's SSS Soap Shop is doing its damn best to get the Scorcher shoe (and Broadside model, one of the most versatile for trick-variation) re-released. Interested? Sure you are! All you have to do is go over there and drop an email to the organisers with some basic details about your preferred shoe and size etc and they'll add you to their list for when they go to meet the SOAP people in September. There's power in numbers! And you know you want it!

Also, if I get a pair of these shoes (which I've been trying to do for YEARS), I solemnly swear that ~~I'm up to no good~~ I'm going to buy a practise grind rail and USE them. Watching the tricks on SonicandPal's SOAP page, I just... argh... MUST LEARN TO GRINDRAIL. Seriously. Must!
