~Yooou're lonely rolling staaaar~
Jul. 3rd, 2007 03:19 pmAh, interview is over and done with, I can relaaaax now ^_^
It's ironic, you know. I had to fill in one of those "potential employee ethics questionnaire" thingies, you know where they give you a bunch of statements and you have to rate them on a 1 - 6 scale on how much you agree, or disagree, with them. I was cautious, because I know that in the past I haven't quite been assertive or confident enough. So I decided to just be bold this time and not give too many shy-seeming responses (I'm not shy, but I'm sure I come across that way sometimes). So, when I was done, the guy ran my responses through the machine. And then he told me that according to my answers I'm maybe a bit too pushy and assertive, too much of a 'salesman' rather than a customer advisor. XD I can't win. Oh boy. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm NOT a pushy in-your-face kind of person at ALL. I'm certainly not the kind of staff person who'd follow you around trying to force you into a sale. Guh. Oh well... n.n;; I answered some verbal questions and he's gonna get back to me within the week. I'm not really too optimistic, but hey! At least I tried.
Anyway, the sun is shining a little today, and I saw a rainbow on the way into town. The sunlight does WONDERS for my mood. It needs to be sunny more. We've had non-stop rain for about a month now. It's ridiculous! So hopefully a little sunny weather is on its way now. Although the weather forecast is showing thunderstorms tonight and scattered showers and light rain for at least the next week and beyond n.n; At least I'm not living up north. The midlands etc have had such horrendous flooding... makes me feel very grateful to be living where I am. We've had a bit of overspill in the towns, but nothing serious. Maybe if everyone thinks about the sun, it'll come out to stay. Hey, that kinda thing worked for Doctor Who!
Speaking of Doctor Who... it was the season finale on Saturday ;_; No more Doctor Who until the Xmas special, and that's months and months away! This is a tragedy of immeasurable proportion. David Tennant is a GENIUS. (Which reminds me, on a sidenote, of how funny it is when an online person professes to being a genius and spells 'genius' wrong XD I shouldn't laugh... but...). But yes, Tennant is fantastic. He plays the part to perfection. And that last episode was pretty awesome. The true identity of the Toclafane, and the implied connection between Jack and the Face of Boe... pure brilliance! And even the very end with the Titanic and the Doctor's completely baffled "What?!" ... ah. Great show. I shall miss it ;_;
I'm hungry o.o I want a peanut-butter sandwich. But there's no peanut-butter. Aww... :\ Well, I'll find something. Laters!

Never seen Doctor Who, but heard of the show.
Ick. Peanut-butter. :P (Good reason why I don't like that stuff.) So... what did ya find to eat?

Date: 2007-07-03 06:29 pm (UTC)Yeah, I'm living by the ocean/shore. It's nice, but it does bring the wind and the rain :P
Sorry to read about your troubles with emailing Justin while he's at sea. But he'll be back on land soon... I'm sure everything will be fine :)

Date: 2007-07-03 06:37 pm (UTC)Yeah, it is nice by the ocean/shore. My only real compliant is that it rains too much now. :P
Yeah... hopefully the Navy sever gets fixed soon. Poor guy... I'm sure he's tearing his mind out about it since he knows how I worry. :P Every thing will be fine once I hear from him again. :)

Date: 2007-07-04 02:32 am (UTC)Doctor Who Doctor Who Doctor Whoooooo! I'm sorry it's over... I know how it is when a show you like ends for the season. One of my favorite shows, "Big Love", has started up again after being gone for nine months. Gah... but at least Doctor Who is going strong and doesn't show any signs of canceling... not like Farscape... ;_______; talk about amaaaazing sci-fi shows.
Interviews are fantastic . ::KABOOM!::
Date: 2007-07-04 07:52 am (UTC)McGee: I still say Eccleston looks more like Neil Tennant than David Tennant does.
