Hah... I asked for a bear hug in the latest news post, and I got one! ^^; I believe that's the first LJ virtual gift I've ever received (although I've sent a few in my time). Now I have a bear in my profile XD Whoo.

Creepy experience; I went downstairs to get a glass of water at 2 AM and found the conservatory sliding door open. Not only that, but both windows were wide open AND the door to the outside. And just inside the door was a dead mouse (thanks Fox, that made it a whole lot less creepy! x.x). Needless to say, I locked the outside door AND the sliding door very securely. I think my mom had the windows and doors open while she was in there earlier and just forgot to close them. But it was still kinda freaky. Also, I picked up the dead mouse with a paper towel and disposed of it. Poor thing... so cute ;_;

I heard 'Here (In Your Arms)' by hellogoodbye on the radio the other day. It was kinda weird, because I had no idea they were mainstream. I'd heard about them a while back from LJ friends, and got myself a little hooked on a few of their songs, but it surprised me when I realised they reached #4 in the UK charts ^^; Kinda cool, though.

I kinda wanna write a post about how awesome Sonic is, and also the fact that he's actually pretty sexy as far as hedgehogs go, 'cause I'm just in one of those moods... but... bed now n.n; Night all!

Our old house was pretty small, so it wasn't fair to keep our cats inside. I'd kinda prefer to, but... eh, Fox is used to the outdoors now. Also, where we live is PERFECT for an outdoor kitty. Our house backs onto a huge field. But yeah, the mice-gifts (birds too) aren't the best ^^;

Heh, yeah, I live in a big city. Very close to a freeway. With a huge colony of ferals and some seriously ghetto apartments also nearby. ._.; People are what I worry about the most, especially since Dominic will go right up to anyone. (Caspian is skittish but dumb--he'd play in traffic.) I sometimes take Dominic out on a lead, though.

And I used to get that sort of thing with my cat Nancy as well. It's annoying to have dead animals in the house, but at the end of the day, the cat only wants to share its prize with you (which is something I'd rather not have ^^;; ). And I bet that was freaky. I had a flashing light show through my window yesterday, yet whenever I opened the curtains, it was about 1am so it was quite dark, not a trace of any flashing light anywhere outside. I opened the window and looked around as well, nothing. I think I was lucky that no chavs were passing by at the time, they love to make racket on our street at about 2am in the morning. ^^;;

Ha... reminds me of the night I couldn't sleep, and a bunch of chavs walked through the street at about 4am... I just started making fun of them for no reason. ^^;;

And Sonic is awesome, there is no need to explain THAT to me. XP
