Update to the Nth!

Well, Jei and her family have all abandoned me gone to watch the 2-hour Lost finale, so I'm up here in Jei's room, stealing her laptop again ^^ Whee, two hours of computerness! Don't get me wrong, I've been having SO much fun, but... a fox and his computer should never be separated for more than a couple days at a time ._.;; ::Cling::

Oh! The darnest thing happened >P I got a job interview. Finally! But. I'm in America. So I can't make it ._.;; And they can't reschedule, since it's a group interview. ARG. Well, never mind, eh? Something else will come up. It has to.

Today was Jei's mom's 50th birthday. I bought her an oil-burner thingy with a nice scented oil, and a card that says "Happy 5th Birthday!". Because I decided she needs to be 5 today, not 50. Hurrah! We had sushi for lunch (I had a sashimi bento box, mmm!), and mexican for dinner, and chocolate cake for dessert :) My tummy is fuuuuull, but happy!

I was randomly wearing Jei's headband today along with my oriental shirt, and she called me Amy ._.;; Dude. But we had fun driving around and listening to Queen (WH00T!), and then playing Katamari Damarcy and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle multiplayer ^^ Whee.

There's talk about big storms on Memorial Day, holding up and delaying flights :/ My flight home is on that Monday, in the evening. It's supposed to arrive back in Bristol at 8:55AM, giving me just a couple hours to get from there into Weston to the Job Centre to check in (I planned this trip to fall exactly between the JSA appointments, so that I wouldn't have to miss one and end up having to declare my 'away time'). So, if it's delayed, I'm screwed. Royally.

Not to mention that Jai hates thunderstorms more than almost anything. They're always out to get me ::Grumble::

Well, I'm gonna go see if I can somehow persuade Muki (Jei's cat) to give me back my denim jacket that she seems to have stolen and nested in on my side of the bed O.o Catch you all later! *Whoosh!*

Eh... it's always raining here (RI), does Jei live near the ocean? Cause we have to drive over a bridge to get to places and there's ocean on either side, which is why it rains so much here. *hands some of it to Arizona*

Ah, I got into Queen a few days ago. Liking them so far.

Nah, she's not _real_ close to the ocean. Maybe like an hour and a half away. We've been getting pretty good weather :) ... buuut storms are due to come in over the weekend :/

Queen is awesome. Freddie Mercury was one of the most amazing music artists to ever live. His legacy will live on forever ^^

Wooh, sounds like you're having lots of fun! Shame about the job interview, but, eh, it probably happened for a reason (Ie. You might have gotten it, but then it wasn't really something you would have mildly enjoyed, etc.)!

I love SA2:Battle! XD I like to use Amy in the races... more challenge for me, and more bragging rights when I beat the Shadow/Metal player.

Yeah, it's just a thing ^^; I've been terrified of storms ever since I was tiny.

Amy's actually a pretty useable player... I mean she's DEAD slow... but she can use those Amy Flash (time-stop) attacks so often and with few rings. Metal is the most challenging to play with, for me. He's just too darn fast and overshoots everything!

Metal is my showoff character. But I'm best at the treasure hunts, to the extent no one will play them with me...

Don't think of it as being all rainy and stormy as you leave...think of it as America giving you a farewell sendoff. A noisy, wet sendoff. I hope you get back in time though...I hate it when carefully laid and timed plans go awry.
