Holy crap. That was a pretty low blow, considering Knothole had just been destroyed and Sonic already feels responsible :\ On the one hand, I'm glad Tails is finally showing his fiery side. On the other, that was a LOW blow ;_; On the other other hand (I have three hands, okay?!), Sonic is being all "I'll handle this alone!" about everything, and that's pretty stupid, too. I guess things are starting to build up towards their big fight in #178. Talk about tension n.n;;;

(On a side note, Amy and Knux's expressions are priceless n.n;).

So yeah, for someone who doesn't care about what happens in Archie-Sonic... I sure care about what happens in Archie-Sonic XD;

But it's sad. I'm hoping it won't be a whole "Tails has become disillusioned by Sonic because he thought his hero would always be able to protect Knothole, and now that he sees Sonic is imperfect, it's made him angry!" x.x that would be so LAME. 'Cuz I hate the whole "hero worshiping" Tails. He' not like that. Him and Sonic are best friends, and if Tails has anything to be angry at Sonic for in Archie, it would be for how crappily he's been treating Tails lately.

I haven't been following the comic for a long while now. But how they're running the comic does seem like it'll be like this: "Tails has become disillusioned by Sonic because he thought his hero would always be able to protect Knothole, and now that he sees Sonic is imperfect, it's made him angry!" I'd like to see Sonic and Tails as just best friends, as it was for a while. Yes, Tails looked/looks up to Sonic, but he's also a hero himself. He's realized this for a while. He knows Sonic isn't perfect. -Umm...so, yeah.-

Anyhow, yes. You're very right. I'm glad you see it that way too. Tails respects Sonic. Deeply. But he's not so completely naive as to belief that Sonic isn't flawed in any way. Sonic is his best friend. It would be a pretty lame friendship if it was based entirely on hero-worship, because that would imply that Tails doesn't actually know Sonic as a person at all.

Archie shouldn't throw around terms like 'best friend' if they actually have no clue what that actually means x.x

... nah XD He's not. And Tails knows it best of all because Tails knows HIM best of all ._. That's what true friendship is about. Come on, they're 'best friends', as the comic has often affirmed. And best-friendship is NOT built on mindless hero-worship :\
