Hey look, I made icons! ... only two this time >.> One is for Jei, the other is, well, also for her but I'm gonna maybe use it too, so there.



Sucks that I don't have any good quality screenshots of AoStH, only my rubbish quality .avis and .rm files. But when I get the AoStH box set, I can make hundreds of good-quality AoStH icons! Bwahaha. ... well... good quality pics, anyway n.n; perhaps not good quality icons.

The Archie Sonic pic in the 2nd icon is from the 'free comic day' special edition comic. Man, Tails kicked Sonic right in the head a couple pages before that n.n;; Ouch. Eh, and speaking of Archie Sonic, issue #175 approaches... It's gonna be so angsty and dramatic and over-the-top, I just know it ^^; 'Anniversary' editions always are.

The May Fayre was cool. There were Morris Dancers and cake and I bought some books and won a box of dominoes in the raffle. The wind almost blew away the stall canopies a few times, but despite the weather, a fun time was had by all ^^

This is gonna sound weird, but if you know what episode you want a screenshot on, you can sometimes find decent quality videos on YouTube and use "print screen" button. A lot of the time when you get them down to 100x100 quality doesn't matter as much. :)

I didn't actually know the name of the episode I wanted, so I was literally going through every episode (and I have all of them, albeit not great quality). But if I know what I'm looking for, I'll definitely try YouTube in future ^^

The books I got were: text book 'Writing: The Story of Alphabets and Scripts', text book 'How To Draw Anything', the novel 'Wild Swans', the movel 'Dune', text book 'Steven Hawkings - A Brief History Of Time' and Mensa puzzle complilation 'Intelligent Puzzles'. ^^

You know... I am a scifi/fantasy geek in addition to being an anime geek and Sonic fangirl, but I have never actually read Dune. It's like... my deep dark secret nerd shortcoming. I keep meaning to, but something shinier always comes up. XD (Right now, I'm re-reading Frankenstein and Good Omens for bookclubs, for instance.)

O.o How did I add an 's' on his name? I was probably going to write "Stephen Hawking's 'A Brief History of Time'" and then changed my mind and used a hyphen instead. x.x Wow, I'm making so many elementary errors today. But yes, he is awesome :)

I haven't read Dune yet either ;_; My mom's read it ^^; I feel ashamed.
