Aww, no way! ;_; I dunno, I'm gonna want to read this issue now. But at the same time I feel slightly queasy. Sonic and Tails just... shouldn't ever be enemies like that. I hope there's enough story to make it believable. They would never turn against each other easily ._. ... doesn't help that I had a dream only a couple nights ago where Sonic and Tails fought each other (albeit under very different circumstances) :\

Anyway, August? That's a while to wait. We're still in April n.n;; Gah. But you know, it'll probably only last one or two issues >.> IT'D BETTER ONLY LAST ONE OR TWO ISSUES.

**** YOU ARCHIE! After #50, in my opinion, it just got crazy. After #100 it just got pathetic. I used to be a big fan of the Archie comics. Once they got rid of Robotnic, they started making it into a gigantic soap opera and I can't stand it. -_-

"Soap opera" is EXACTLY how I'd describe it, too.

There's a million different characters, FAR too many love triangles, Sonic's a gosh-darn playa, and the SAME plots and villains have been recycled a million times. The 25 Years Later arc makes no sense. And half of the entire comic seems devoted to 395,639,573 echidna characters who mean NOTHING to me n.n;

... yet I keep reading. Am I a masochist? :\

Once it hit #100 and it didn't get better, I gave up. :( I still read reviews from time to time, hoping it'll go back to the good ol' days. I don't think you're alone in that, at all. It's just really sad to see how far the comic has gone in comparison to what it used to be. *sigh*

... but yeah, I guess I'm holding out for it to go back to how it was for a while. But I suppose that's unlikely to happen. There's the occasional glimmer of hope... but it never lasts :\ I think the comics could be awesome. But they caved to the generic angst-ridden teen-drama angle, and that killed it ;_;

You know their covers are all about getting people to be like 'OMG, WHUT?' to pick up the issue. It's probably just them having some big ass arguement.

We've already had Tails freaking out on Sonic and telling him he hated him. =P

Yes, I know ;_; There's already been too much rift between them ($%&# Fiona >.>)... I don't wanna see them actually pitted against each other :\ The cover is obviously just sensationalist... although the preview-text-blurb does seem to hint at them actually coming to battle-blows. Which totally sucks. But even if they only have a big-ass argument, that makes me sad. Their friendship's had enough of a rough ride recently as it is x.o

"Sonic dies"? Yeah, they could've done that... after all, they've only used THAT plot-device, what, four times already? ^^;

Personally? I'm hoping Ian's going with something I've actually kind of been hoping for. To give them this HUGE fight where they take everything they've been holding up inside out against each other and say everything they've been -wanting- to say but haven't been letting themselves say and it ending with the two of them leaning against each other battered and breathless and practically in tears and just.... being better. Because it got said. It's finally out and they're finding out they're both wrong/misunderstood/silly/whatever.

Clear the air between them and leave them closer than they've ever been.

Now -that- would be an issue worth reading. <3<3

Yeah... that's one way it could go. I'm hoping they'll actually put some depth into it. I'll be majorly pissed if it just kinda... doesn't go anywhere, y'know? If Sonic and Tails are going to have an all-out fight, it better actually be worth it... because if it just tapers out and goes unresolved and just forgotten, I'll... kick somebody x.x ... I'll be very happy if it actually does clear the air between them and bring them closer, though ^_^

Meh. Haven't read Archie since the big(ultimately silly)Endgame storyline. This looks interesting, though--Tails NEVER goes against Sonic in a big way, I think it'll open up sides of the characters you don't usually see.

But I'm big on that kinda thing.

Endgame was originally supposed to kill Princess Sally. You can blame overly rampant Sally fans for ruining that one. -Not that I don't/didn't like Sally; it's just it would have been an interesting angle.-

Endgame... Endgame, Endgame, Endgame... that's the arc where 'Sonic' supposedly cuts Sally's rope in the City, sending her plummeting to her death, and thus he gets arrested by the military police and sent off to that... island... place, but the plane crashes and he escapes? And it turns out that Hershey was actually responsible, because she was the one who did it, wearing a Sonic costume with technology in the eyepieces that made her see Snively instead of Sally? And at the end Sally's in a coma in that glass 'memorial coffin', and Sonic wakes her with a kiss? @_@

That whole arc was... eh... ridiculous. Overthetop angsty, and hardly believable. Sally was supposed to stay dead? That I did not know.

I'm not sure how I feel about Archie-Sally. I don't like her as much as I like SatAM-Sally. I was NOT happy when she slapped Sonic in front of everyone when he wouldn't step up into the royal role.

I guess I'm kinda rare, though, in still liking SatAM Sally a lot even though I'm not a fan of Sonic/Sally. *shrug*

I haven't read the arc in so long. I'd probably agree with you if I read it again. heeh

Well,..hehe, to be honest, I've kind selective chosen what parts I want in my Sally. Then again, most of the characters have their own life according to myself and my sisters because we used to play as them when we were young. The whole "step up to royal duties" or the "stop running around or I'll break up with you" junk really angered me. It just got so ridiculous. The Sally I know wouldn't do that. She knew what needed to be done.

I don't like any pairing that either SatAM or Archie has made. They just really bother me. Near the end of SatAM it's quite obvious that they are supposed to be a couple, whereas in the first season it seemed more of an innocent friendship -keep in mind I did rewatch the entire series a few weeks ago ;)-. I just happily choose to ignore pairings (though, I admit, when I was in my teenage years I thought it was kinda cool).

As for which version of Sally I like better...well, again, I'd have to read through the comics. I don't even think the group of "Freedom Fighters" we're dealing with are "real". Last I remember they skipped about five years to have that ridiculous Sonic in space arc or something, so we can actually kinda pretend that ever since that time it's been an alternate reality.

Yeah, in retrospect it could be interesting... eh... I guess I'm just not much of an angst fan, and Sonic and Tails' friendship is something I really really love. I hate to see them fight! ;_; ... but if it actually helps them to fix the rift between them in the end, I guess it's all good. Blah... August is a long way away >/ I'm not patient.
