Nuh? I just noticed something kinda weird. My new house address and my actual last name match. See, my real last name is Perea, a Colombian family name which refers to pear farmers. And my new address is in a private street called Pear Tree Gardens :D It's prophetic, I tell you!

All silliness aside, I'd like to kill thank overlord_mordax for introducing me to Order Of The Stick, a D&D-related webcomic that ate a good half-a-day, on and off, due to me getting hooked and reading it start to finish. I don't even play D&D, but hey, geek humor is geek humor. And now I'm peeved because I have to waaaait to continue reading ^^;;

I can see the stars from my bed, through the skylight window above my head ^_^ It's actually... really awesome. Back in London, the light pollution and the limited view of the sky meant that even on the clearest nights only the brightest of stars could be seen. Out here in the country, the sky is a veritable panorama of stars, and the night sky view has an air of majesty that I'd all but forgotten about. Even cooler is the fact that last night and tonight the constellation of Ursa Major can be clearly seen directly over my head, the seven brightest points forming The Plough (or The Big Dipper, if you like). It looks more like a saucepan to me, but hey. It's just incredibly cool to see that directly above my head when I'm laying in bed ^^

Stars are beautiful and I miss the smell of clean air. I've been living in this dirty city of Las Vegas, it smells like carbon dioxide and cigarette smoke most of the time, but it's nice in the mornings and when it rains. Country air... it really makes me feel better, physically and emotionally.

Yeah... it's so nice to get away to the country ^^ After 22 years living in London, I'm glad to finally get away from the smog and live in a place where the air is clean and I can see the stars.

Ha... how awesome! I'd love to see the stars from my bedroom, but the amount of chavs that walk down our street at night (and usually drunk as well), kinda makes me afraid to open my curtains and look out. As a general rule, my street isn't that lighted up either. I did look out at the stars one night, at about 4am when I couldn't sleep and all said chavs had already walked down the street singing some awful song. Looking at stars is quite a sight to behold. And because of how far away those stars are, some of them could be dying, but we still see them in the sky. It's kinda awesome! ^^

Gah... excuse the Science-y bit there then. Bad me, BAD ME! XP

I notice that every weekend I go from Cedar City to Salt Lake. The stars go from billions to dozens, just because of the lights... ;__;

It's pretty awesome... I've always wanted to live somewhere where I could see the stars properly, and now I can! ^_^
