A true Jessie and James moment (Colby would be Meowth :P)

Jei and I were talking and we got to remembering something that happened while I was visiting her one summer ^^; It went something like this.

We were at home looking out of the window onto the deck when we saw something shimmering on the wooden boards. It was out on the deck, and it was truly beautiful, the way it fluttered in the breeze. We were sure it had to be some kind of large and incredibly rare butterfly, and we were captivated. We were talking, wondering if we could look it up, and discussing whether we should try to get closer to it... but we were afraid that if we went out onto the deck, it would fly away. Just then, Jei's sister Colby walked in, and we beckoned her over excitedly to show her the super-rare butterfly that was sitting out on the deck. She looked at it for a moment, then looked at us and said, "... that's a slim jim wrapper." Then proceeded to laugh at us for the rest of the day.

True story ;_;

(Seriously though, I have poor distance vision, shortsighted... Jei's vision is 20/20 - what's her excuse? XD)

I think we were worse. I was in maybe 3rd grade? See, our school is situated near a (very polluted ;_; ) river, and well, there are squatters living near there... so one day we were having a show on the covered court... that's near the river, you can stand on the.. stands XD and see it along with the houses and stuff. So something caught our eye and we saw a person who wasn't moving!! O_O So we were like "omg, is he dead?" and we kept looking at it instead of watching the show XD;;

until some dude came over, and picked it up, only to embarass us because.......

it was a mickey mouse costume :(

XD IT WAS A RARE BUTTERFLY WE COULD HAVE CAPTURED AND GIVEN TO THE BOSS! n.n;;; wow... yeah... I reminded Colby about that after we got done talking about it and she started laughing at us all over again. n.n;;

I know I don't have an excuse! I pride myself on my perfect vision! It failed me that day... though it'll always be a butterfly in our hearts.

Darn it, love Team Rocket. Best... villains... ever! (I think it's about time we got an episode of Pokemon where Team Rocket don't go blasting off again)

Anyway, if it's of any embarrassment, I have a horrible tendancy to play jokes on people I think are my friends... and then find out they're some random stranger. Yeah... I have 20/20 vision too. I also sometimes don't hear things properly, so normal things that could have sounded slightly dirty end up sounding slightly dirty x_X;;
