~Do you see what you dream?~
Jan. 13th, 2007 02:51 pmI'm so excited! We made an offer on a house we saw in Bleadon Hill today... looks like we'll be buying it if it all goes through! It's an AWESOME house... I love it... I'll just copy what I told Jei:
"I wish I could show you ;_; but the COOLEST part is the room I would have o.o It's kinda an attic-conversion, but it's HUGE. It's kinda being used as a bedroom/living area at the moment with a huge double bed, two couches, a TV etc... and with LOADS more room to spare... it has attic-sloping ceilings, but they're high enough that you can't hit your head on it... basically, it's like a den, and the skylight windows have AWESOME views across the fields. Honestly, it's so big that one option we talked about is building an en-suite bathroom in there and renting it out to students/lodgers if I go to Uni o.o"
Also, the downstairs lounge has a proper wood fireplace that's REALLY cozy. And there's a lovely glass conservatory sticking out into the garden. And the fields behind the house have horses and sheep!! XD
We sold the house back in London for £333,000. We're buying this one for £320,000 if our offer is accepted (willing to go up to the asking price of £325,000 if necessary). There's stamp duty on top, of course... but all in all, definitely a fair price!
Eee!!! We might've finally found a house to move to!!! ^___^
